In the early hours of Saturday, August 10, 2024, our beloved brother, Travis “TJ” Brown, was critically injured while serving the Ferguson community. He is currently in critical condition, surrounded by his loved ones, as he bravely fights for his life. We are holding onto hope and trusting in the power of faith to see him through this difficult time.

TJ is more than a police officer; he is a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend. A man of strong faith, his heart is as big as his smile, and his positive energy is truly contagious. TJ is also an athlete, an adventurer, a lover of movies, and so much more. Although he isn’t able to speak at this time, we know he is determined to continue living life to the fullest once he has recovered.

We have started this GoFundMe page for those who wish to help in a tangible way, and help lessen the financial burden TJ is sure to face on his road to recovery. Evelyn, one of Travis’ sisters, will transfer and secure these funds in the family trust for Travis to help care for his children and expenses during this challenging time. Please continue to share our fundraiser and help us reach our goal.

From the depths of our hearts, we want to express our profound gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from so many. Your generosity, whether through prayers, donations, or simply sharing a kind word, has been a source of strength for us all.

While we may never be able to personally thank everyone who has supported us, please know that your kindness has made an immeasurable impact on our family.

Support For Butler PA Victims - President Trump Authorized

We are starting this fundraiser to help raise money for our long-time co-worker Ron Pritchard's Family in a time of great need. Ron & Linda Pritchard's 29-year-old son Ian Pritchard is facing a major medical crisis with a critical lung condition. Ian has been hospitalized almost 5 weeks now; he was admitted initially to the hospital in Petoskey, MI the week before Thanksgiving. Ian's condition quickly deteriorated so he was transported to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit a couple weeks ago where they were able to determine Ian has a rare fungal infection of his lungs. He has been in a medically induced coma on life support and ECMO machine since arriving at Henry Ford. The doctors have found a medication to treat his fungal infection, but it is a very slow process. The fungus has basically eaten large holes in Ian's lungs, as his father described it. The ECMO machine is helping to keep the lungs from having to work too hard while they heal up. The family and doctors are hopeful that the lung infection will be eradicated so that then Ian will be eligible for lung transplants. (They cannot do a transplant until the fungal infection is gone.) Ian is in very critical condition, but his youth and otherwise good health are in his favor. Please send all of your prayers and healing vibes his way.

Ian's parents, Ron & Linda are traveling back and forth from their home in Boyne City, MI to Detroit multiple times per week to be with their son and confer with the medical team. The cost of the 250+ mile one way trip, plus food and lodging in Detroit are adding up quickly. Part of this fundraiser money will be utilized by Ron & Linda for their travel expenses to be with their son while he is hospitalized. We are also hoping to garner enough support to have money to help with all of the medical bills Ian is incurring during these many weeks of hospitalization (with more to come). He has very basic insurance, so a huge amount will be his responsibility.

Ian's father Ron Pritchard is a well-known radio DJ with Midwestern Broadcasting Company in Traverse City, Michigan. He currently is on the air with WCCW-FM and KLT The Rock Station, and also was the morning show host on Z93 for many years previously. Throughout his many decades of working in radio, Ron has been a champion for many Northern Michigan charities and fundraisers... using his voice and platform on the air to raise awareness of countless causes for our area. We hope that Northern Michigan, and all who have the means or desire, can step up and donate even a few dollars to The Pritchard Family at this time, to return the favor, so to speak. $5... $10... $20... whatever you can give... it all adds up. Please SHARE THIS GO FUND ME page on all of your social media at the very least as often as possible. Thank you in advance for whatever you can do to help.

The Pritchard Family Needs Your Help

Our beloved Charles Wade recently passed on December 7th, 2021. Charles was a wonderful brother, father, and friend, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind 4 children, 1step-child and 4 siblings who recently lost their mother.

Charles dedicated his life to taking care of the children he had and the ones in his life. He was always lending a helping hand and taking care of those around him. He was an aspiring music entertainer and was always trying to find ways to perfect his craft. He played football at Groveport Madison High School and excelled in everything that he set out to do. He graduated high school in 2018 and was always determined to complete whatever he started.

Demetrius was a 9 year old 4th grader in Canal Winchester school District, who played football with the Reynoldsburg Raiders. He enjoyed playing with his siblings and was a great student. Demetrius was a great big brother to his baby sister Londynn who was also a student in Canal Winchester District. Londynn was a 6 year old Kindergartener who had an amazing sense of humor. Anyone who knew Londynn would remember her, her personality, her beauty and her presence was able to lighten up any room.

On December 7, 2021 as Charles loaded his 2 step children Demetrius and Londynn Wall’Neal in the car to go enjoy dinner, and prepare to leave they were horribly, and heartlessly riddled with bullets. This tragedy is very hard to explain and even harder for the families affected to comprehend. Currently we’re unable to grieve properly, because not only has the perpetrator's not been found but we also have to come up with funds for funeral services during this holiday season.

We are all devastated by the loss of Charles, Demetrius, and Londynn and we're not prepared for the high cost of a funeral services, or the long road ahead of us caring for his children and step-children. We want to give Charles and the children the memorial they deserve, to honor their memories and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Charles, Demetrius and Londynn’s funerals, and to assist with his children going forward.

Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time. All funds will be processed through my personal bank account, Briana Wade, Charles sister, permissions have been granted by the mother of all children.

Thank you so much and have a blessed day.

Paying Tribute to Demetrius, Londynn and Charles

We are raising funds for a recently assaulted Uber driver.

Two days ago, Uber driver Subhakar Khadka was physically assaulted and pepper sprayed by a group of three Uber passengers after they refused to comply with Uber's rider policy to wear facial masks during this Covid pandemic.

He politely informed the riders that he was cancelling the ride and that they needed to leave his vehicle. They then proceeded to hit him, yank the mask off of his face, tried to steal his phone, and then pepper sprayed him.

Uber then failed to step up to take care of this Uber driver to help him with lost wages and cleaning from having pepper spray chemicals sprayed into the fabric of his car. They instead began with only offering $20 in compensation for having pepper spray covering his interior fabric. They then upped it to $120 in compensation but this does not come close to the expenses needed to have a professional car detailing to try and remove the strong chemicals of pepper spray and also the lost wages from not being able to work.
------
We will have Subhakar take possession of any funds raised in this campaign to help him with his living expenses while he is unable to work due to this trauma. With his inability to work, he will need these funds as soon as possible.
------
Check out the coverage popping up from local ABC Reporter Dion Lim on Twitter
------
About the Organizer: Cyan Banister is one of the first investors in Uber and appalled by the fact that Uber hasn't done the right thing and is helping organize this fundraise to help Subhakar.

My name is Charles Gaytan. My beautiful wife, Kayla, son Ethan, and daughter Harper and I have a one of a kind story.

My wife and I have been through a lot, just this year. In January 2016, we got married, we were so excited to begin our lives together. A week later, we found out that Kayla was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She battled a gruesome 5 months of chemotherapy, getting treatments every other week. In May, we were told awesome news, Kayla was in remission,However, We were told that having another child would be unlikely.

Unlikely but not impossible. In June, just one month after completing chemotherapy, By the grace of God, she became pregnant; with 4 babies. Yes, naturally conceived quadruplets! We couldn't be happier. The pregnancy was going off without a hitch, everything was going smoothly,

At 28 weeks pregnant, Kayla had a biopsy and the results confirmed a relapse of her Hodgkins Lymphoma. It's been characterized as refractory disease so a stem cell transplant followed by 16 months of chemotherapy is needed. With a heavy heart, we along with our medical team decided to deliver the babies by C Section at 30 weeks. As Kayla needs to begin treatment right away. Our quadruplets were born December 30, 2016. They are currently in the NICU and trying their best to breathe. We feel very blessed.

We've been extremely fortunate in our lives, however we appreciate anyhelp as we have a long journey ahead. Thank you for reading this. God Bless and KCCO

Gaytan's Quadruple Pregnancy

Jeni and Tim were so excited to head to Costa Rica a few days ago to see their daughter, who lives there, marry the man of her dreams yesterday (9/3/16). If you know Jeni, you know how much Tim means to her, and how wonderful that love is that they share as husband and wife. During the wedding, after the father-daughter dance, Tim had a heart attack. Sadly, he didn't survive it. Our hearts are broken for his wife, Jeni, and their entire family. Through the shock of their terrible loss, Jeni has to now deal with arrangements and expenses that she wasn't at all prepared for. I know that Jeni would be so grateful for any donation that you can make, and of course, prayers for her and their family. Tim served as a Detective for the York County Sheriff's Office in Rock Hill, SC. Many of you know that Jeni is a wedding photographer, and understandably, she will need some time away from that after such a tragic event at her own daughter's wedding, so any financial help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support during this very difficult time.
