My name is Andrea Hutchins, and I am a single mother doing everything in my power to provide for my two daughters while we navigate medical battles that most people never have to face. I am a 3-time cancer survivor, and my daughters and I all share a hereditary cancer predisposition called Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, which puts us at extremely high risk for developing multiple cancers throughout our lives. Because of this, we travel regularly to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, University of Cincinnati, and TriHealth for continuous surveillance and life-saving monitoring.
On top of that, I live with lymphedema, and my youngest daughter battles FND (Functional Neurologic Disorder), which causes non-epileptic seizures. Every appointment matters. Every trip matters. Our car is not just transportation — it is our lifeline.
But right now, that lifeline is breaking.
I drive a 2021 Ford EcoSport Titanium, and this year alone, the engine had to be replaced. Now there are two new recalls, including one that has no available fix. My car also urgently needs brakes all around and new tires, and I simply cannot afford the repairs. Living on disability/Social Security means most of my income goes toward keeping a roof over our heads and caring for my girls.
I am exhausted, overwhelmed, and trying my hardest — but this is bigger than what I can manage on my own. I’m asking for help so I can keep my daughters safe and get them to the medical care we depend on.
Your donations will help cover:
• Brakes, tires, and critical repairs
• Safe transportation to and from medical appointments
• Keeping our only vehicle road-ready and reliable
Anything you give — no matter the amount — directly helps my family stay safe and continue receiving the care we need. You’re not just helping fix a car; you’re helping protect a mother fighting for her life and the lives of her children.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support. ️
