I am experiencing extreme hearing loss, and it has made everyday life incredibly difficult. Without hearing aids, I struggle to communicate with my boys and miss out on important moments with them. My insurance won’t cover the cost of hearing aids, and being currently without a job makes it impossible for me to afford them on my own. This situation has left me feeling isolated and worried about my safety when I go out, as I can’t hear what’s happening around me. Receiving hearing aids would change everything for me. I would be able to hear my boys when they talk to me, reconnect with the world, and feel safe going out. It would also give me the confidence to look for work and improve my quality of life.
