<div>She’s younger than me but I’m the one who looks up to her. She’s been a single mother for over 9 years due to an unforeseen tragedy. Even though at times it was rough she’s never asked for anything and made it happen on her own almost always. She goes to work everyday in construction and can outwork most of her coworkers. Believe it or not her dream is to operate heavy machinery. Unfortunately you have to get a CDL which requires almost perfect vision.

<div>She’s had a longstanding history of poor vision in the right eye due to herpesviral infection suffered at age 4 when her cornea got scratched. She has been maintained on anti-inflammatory eye drops and antiviral pills to keep her condition under control over the last 7 years. Despite taking her medications, she has had several flare ups, but her vision has remained stable for the most part at counting fingers. She has a central scar on the right cornea and would benefit from a corneal transplant, but she is a poor candidate for a transplant due to absent sensation in the right eye from her original infection.

<div>She is planning to undergo "neurotization" surgery on Jan. 9th to improve the sensation in the right eye. During this surgery, nerves from her forehead will be "re-routed" to her eye to try to improve the sensation in the eye. If the sensation in her eye improves after surgery, she may be a candidate for a corneal transplant in the future to improve her vision.

<div>The first procedure of neurotization will leave her out of work for 2-3 weeks. Once it’s successful and she can undergo the transplant she will be out of work for a couple months. She was hesitant to go forward bc she can not afford to miss work.

<div>The money donated, at minimum requested, will go towards her monthly bills of rent, car note and her sons needs.

<div>Never did she envision her sight actually being restored until this new technique for the neurotization was mentioned by her eye doctor. With getting this procedure she will be able to pursue her dream job and be able to support her son until no longer needed! It will forever change her life and sight for the better!!

<div>Hi, my name is Rachel, and I am fundraising for my friend Jennifer Brown. She is a young mother of three, who has been battling cancer. On top of being very sick, and having to take care of her three little ones, they also lost their home from Hurricane Ida and have been out of their home since. Jenni has stopped responding to her treatment plan and needs to seek more options. Her insurance will not cover it, and as we all know, cancer treatments are very expensive, so I’m here today to ask you kindly to please donate if you can so that Jenni can get the treatment she desperately needs so she can get healthy again and watch her babies grow. Jenni is a very strong and beautiful women inside and out. She really hoped to be better at this point, and it’s just devastating to her and her family. She is in constant pain, and she is doing her best to stay strong. She has a strong faith in God, and we know he will get her through this. I just want to paint a picture of what life is like for her right now to help you understand what her and her family are going through. Help Jennifer with Cancer Treatments

<p>The unexpected death of a child is an unimaginable loss.<br /><br />It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the loss of my 15 year-old cousin.  On Saturday May 15th, 2021 the Lord welcomed Landon Eschete into His loving arms. 
</p>

<p>He was a compassionate, sweet jokester who was selfless and giving and always put others first. His smile was contagious and he could make anyone laugh. Landon was a gift to everyone who knew him; he was a kind, loving, gentle soul.  He made the world a better place and always protected our Earth. He cared deeply for the people he loved and will be deeply missed by all who loved and still love him. We all know that we are so lucky to be loved by Landon.<br /><br />Along with the emotional pain, stress and agony that London’s passing brings, is also the occurrence of financial burden. Therefore, my family is seeking your support and donations to memorialize Landon in the sincerest way possible. <br /><br /> Please also continue to pray for our family as we deal with this unimaginable situation. Dominic depends on monthly therapies, sensory tools, adaptive supplies, and consistent care to thrive. Without Medicaid, these costs add up quickly, and as his mom, I’m doing everything I can to keep his progress from slipping while I fight to get his coverage reinstated.
