<div><strong>Kobie's Story</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Meet Kobie, a brave 12-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (level 3, non-verbal) who has already overcome so much in his young life. After surviving a stroke last year, Kobie was making progress with the help of specialised communication tools and a sensory room until our region experienced a 1 in 500 year flood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In May 2025, our community was hit by a catastrophic <strong>1-in-500-year </strong>flood that no one could have predicted. Kobie's family lost everything, including:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>$8,000 communication device - Kobie's lifeline to the world
</li>
<li>Crash pads and sensory regulation tools - essential for his daily wellbeing
</li>
<li>All household belongings - leaving them starting from zero
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Since losing his communication device, Kobie has experienced:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Significant increase in school absences
</li>
<li>Increased self-harm behaviours
</li>
<li>Daily distress from inability to communicate basic needs
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Imagine needing a drink of water and having no way to ask for it. This is Kobie's reality every single day.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After 6 months in temporary accommodation, the family has just moved back to their rental home but it's far from ready. With no carpets and basic repairs still needed, they're doing their best to rebuild their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The NDIS has refused to replace Kobie's communication device or help adapt their flood-affected rental home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>About Jade (Kobie's Mom)</strong>
</div>
<div>Despite facing unimaginable challenges, Jade teaches her children that no matter what life throws at you, you must keep smiling and moving forward. Her resilience and determination to help Kobie, his twin Ella, plus her other children live their best life is truly inspiring.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div>Communication is a human right. Your donation will help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✅ Replace Kobie's $9,000 communication device
</div>
<div>✅ Purchase new sensory regulation tools and crash pads
</div>
<div>✅ Help make their house a safe, accessible home for Kobie
</div>
<div>✅ Give this family hope for a brighter future
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every Dollar Counts</strong>
</div>
<div>No amount is too small. Whether it's $5 or $500, you're helping give Kobie his voice back and supporting a family that refuses to give up despite overwhelming odds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks.

</div>
<div>Together, we can help Kobie communicate again and give this incredible family the fresh start they deserve.

Help Kobie Communicate Again Flood Recovery for 12 year old

<div>Hi! We are circulating this gofundme page me and my husband,who have unfortunately lost our home and all our belongings in a fire that happened last Saturday 15th. Thankfully, no one was hurt and our fur babies are all safe and sound!

</div>

<div>My equipment for my photography business, Dreamlove Photography Sydney — cameras, lenses, hard drive,laptop, etc. were all destroyed and I’m was unable to recover any photos from my recent shoots.

</div>

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>The house was not insured and Centrelink won’t offer any help to support us. Despite this, we still need to continue paying off our mortgage.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Any donation, no matter how big or small will make a huge difference. If you can, please contribute, share or even sending them some kind thoughts, prayers or words of encouragement would mean so much and I know they’ll greatly appreciate the support! ❤️
