I’m 25 years old, and I’m asking for help getting into an apartment at Discovery Square in Herndon, Virginia. I already have a stable job, and I’m doing my best to get back on my feet, but I can’t stay in my current location and I need to secure housing now. Part of what put me in this position is that I had to spend money helping my family, which left me short on what I need for this move. I’m trying to do for myself and become more independent, but right now I need help covering the upfront costs that are standing in the way. The funds from this fundraiser would go toward the application fee and the move-in fee for the apartment. Getting into an affordable place I’ve already been trying to get into would give me the chance to keep up and maintain things for myself with some stability. If you’re able to support me, any donation would mean a lot. Even sharing this fundraiser would help me take this next step toward stable housing and getting back on my feet.
