<div>Bayou City Bee brings outdoor classrooms and pollinator-friendly gardens directly to school campuses — at no cost to the schools or districts. These gardens become living labs where students learn science, ecology, sustainability, teamwork, and much more through real-world engagement.

<div>We recently partnered with Lamar Consolidated High School to bring this transformative program to their Culinary Garden — and we’re expanding! Thanks to community support, we’re now working with Wessendorff Middle School, and we anticipate additional schools within the Lamar Independent School District joining the initiative next semester. This is just the beginning of a multi-school effort to build a network of garden classrooms that empower students and strengthen communities.
