<div>Michelle is the kind of person who lights up every room she walks into: a Gfab to her grandson, and a beloved member of her tight-knit U2 fan community, known for showing up for others even when she's facing her own struggles.

<div>On July 19th, everything changed. While walking out of Lowe’s, she was struck by a pickup truck. She has no memory of the accident itself. She has since undergone brain surgery and stomach surgery, and remains hospitalized.

<div>Michelle is the provider for her grandson, and it's still unknown whether, or when, she'll be able to return to work. On top of mounting medical bills, her family now faces childcare costs and lost income during her recovery, with real uncertainty about what comes next.

Support Michelle's Healing Journey

I am setting up this fundraiser on behalf of the Ross-Rutter family. Their beautiful mother, Sundee, fought a long, hard battle in the past year with breast cancer and survived! She continued to work at her job at Ross Dress for Less throughout her treatment as she was the sole provider for her six beautiful and amazing children.  Due to all the cancer treatments, Sundee didn’t have much left in the way of an immune system. Unfortunately and tragically, She contracted the virus that is making the news lately. ( I can’t say the name of the virus otherwise fb will delete the post). She fought valiantly until she could not fight any more. She lost her battle on March 16, 2020. She is preceded in death by the father of her children. This has not been an easy road for these kids. They have been through a lot in the past several years. Sundee was an absolutely amazing mom and instilled only the utmost of values in her children. I have never known a group of siblings who stick together and take care of one another as much as these kids do. The oldest three are in college and the youngest three are in high school and middle school. Tyree, the oldest of the family, graduates from college in June and will be trying to secure housing so that he can finish the job of raising his siblings that his mom could not. Please help support this family to get some housing set up and for whatever else the family may need in the coming months. They are still looking into funeral arrangements and a Celebration of Life for Sundee in the future. They are a proud family but they touched so many people’s lives that I know many want to help in any way they can. Below, I have posted what Sundee’s eldest daughter, Alexis, wrote about her mom when she set up a fundraiser to help the family during her battle with cancer. As a single mother of six children (ages 24, 21, 20, 15, 14, 13), She has made it her highest priority to instill in us all of the amazing and upheld values and morals she possesses, with high hopes that each of us are able to make positive changes and impacts on our friends, family, and community. <br /><br />Lets help Sundee continue her dreams for her children. Michael Jedrzejewski––still known to all of us as MJ––was diagnosed with a brain tumor about two and a half years ago.<br /><br />And as we all know, Sue Sherman, Pam Juhos, and the entire Buckley family came together to help fund a crucial life-saving surgery with preeminent Cedars-Sinai Medical Center neurosurgeon, Dr. Keith Black, because it unfortunately was outside MJ's insurance coverage and exclusively an out-of-pocket cost.<br /><br />The last GoFundMe campaign proved miracles truly exist when we all come together and help those in need.<br /><br />And while MJ always knew that a follow-up procedure was rather likely given the diagnosis, a recent MRI revealed a growth rate that Dr. Black determined is a "frame of reference" to now proceed with a follow-up full-resection that only he is able to perform.<br /><br />He was told the best chance for removing the rest of the tumor––especially the new growth––was now. So his surgery has been scheduled for<strong> January 10, 2019</strong>.<br /><br />While currently on a long-term Cedars-Sinai payment plan, and having transferred to health insurance that will at least cover part of the hospital stay, the surgery itself and the potential rehabilitation and recovery are again out-of-pocket cash payments.<br /><br />When he told his nearest and dearest what he was facing again, Sue Sherman's immediate response was, "So we're going to need another GoFundMe."<br /><br />Like last time, MJ was floored. Grateful. He knew he was loved.<br /><br />So again––like last time––we've started this second GoFundMe campaign to help MJ pay for this critical surgery, the rehabilitation and recovery, and whatever next steps lay ahead of him in the fight for his life.<br /><br />Please donate, share, and spread the word about our campaign. The Buckley community prides itself on our support for and commitment to those we consider family. As an alumnus (Class of '98), a tennis coach for ten years, a valued mentor, and a friend to so many students and faculty, this is one of those moments we shine.<br /><br />And again––just like last time––all MJ can say is, "I can't believe how lucky I am to be a proud member of this community, this extended family. I'm reminded every day, I'm grateful beyond expression. Thank you."

WHAT<br /><br />The clock is ticking on Women's Reproductive Rights.  Judge Kavanaugh, an individual who's record and judicial philosophy demonstrate a clear hostility towards reproductive rights, was confirmed. The Ohio House passed a bill restricting abortions after 6 weeks AND is trying to <strong>CRIMINALIZE</strong> the procedure. There is no clause for incest nor rape. Women &amp; their doctors could face life-imprisonment in the event this bill is passed. 7 States have ONE SINGLE CLINIC (in the entire state) providing care.<br /><br />WHY<br /><br />As artists and citizens of the United States of America we feel it is our duty to make a <strong>positive contribution</strong> to our country &amp; our world. We made R.V to take a stand &amp; to give voice to women across the country who do not have access to a safe, legal abortion.
