Barakah for Bangladesh is launching a new initiative to bring clean and accessible water to underserved communities in Rajshahi through building water pumps. Many families in these areas struggle daily to access safe drinking water, often walking long distances or relying on unsafe sources. In fact, parts of Rajshahi have been officially identified as severely water-stressed areas, where access to reliable water is becoming increasingly difficult. Across Bangladesh, the crisis is even more widespread. While many people technically have “access” to water, only about 59% have access to safely managed, clean water, and contamination remains a serious issue. This campaign aims to ease that hardship by building water pumps that will serve entire communities for years to come. With a goal of $750 CAD, Insha’Allah, your generous donations will allow our team on the ground to install reliable water pumps, giving families access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and daily use. $250 CAD will fund one water pump, providing a long-term source of clean water for multiple families and benefiting an entire community. All funds are handled with care, transparency, and love. By contributing to this project, you are doing more than just providing water, you are giving health, dignity, and ease to our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh. As this blessed month comes to an end and Eid approaches, Barakah for Bangladesh is launching an Eid Food Package Distribution initiative to support low income families and individuals facing financial hardship. Growing up, Eid mornings were always something I looked forward to, especially because of my mother's cooking. Like many of us, we hope to extend the same experience to families who may otherwise go without. This initiative provides families with essential ingredients so they can prepare their own Eid meals at home, allowing them to celebrate together with comfort and familiarity, In’sha’Allah. With a goal of $1,500 dollars to support vulnerable households, In’sha’Allah, your generous donations will allow our team to provide families with essential Eid Food packages. $25 CAD will provide each family with • Rice • Chicken • Daal (lentils) • Sugar • Oil • Shemai (vermicelli for dessert) • Milk • Masala (spices) • Salt • Onions • Cucumbers All funds are handled with care, transparency, and love. "Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord.
