<div>Hi! My name is Bailey. And my Fiancés name is Aj. We’ve been together for almost 4 years. She is the most kind, genuine, loving person I have ever met. She would do anything she could for someone if they needed help in any way, especially her loved ones &amp; friends. Our plans were to get married back in 2025, but we received some devastating news that a mole that should have been just a regular beauty mark was actually stage 3 melanoma, and the most aggressive kind at that. So in September she had to undergo her first surgery to get the melanoma removed, but because it was so deep in her they didn’t get all of it the first time. So she had to go for a second surgery. Also during this time they wanted to do a petscan to see if the cancer had spread anywhere else. On the petscan it showed a 2.3 cm precancerous tumor on her pancreas. Her oncologist referred us to OSU James Cancer center. She had to undergo an endoscopy to get more information on the tumor. And then finally January 20th the surgery was scheduled to go in and remove the tail end of the pancreas, save her spleen, and remove the tumor. We were at the hospital for 6 days and not even a couple days of being home I rushed her to the ER because she had a 102.9 fever. It turns out she was early stages of being septic, accute pancreatitis, and had 4 different masses of fluid all around her pancreas and lungs. So they rushed her back to OSU and we stayed there another 5 days. Now we are waiting to see if they want to do another surgery to drain the fluid because of the size of it, or if antibiotics can take it away over time. But during this time my fiancé hasn’t been able to work due to constantly having appointments, operations, and unexpected hospital visits. So these last few months have been extremely hard for us, not just mentally, spiritually &amp; emotionally, but financially as well. We went from having 2 incomes to just one. To say it has been hard is an understatement. We are barely getting by. I currently bartend and have had to miss a lot of work recently due to her hospital stays since I am also her power of attorney and I need to be there to make medical decisions God forbid if she cannot. I’m not the one to ask for help, and can be hard headed as I want to be able to take care of my fiancé and everything on my own. And I’m realizing that I cannot do this alone. I understand times are hard for everyone and I appreciate all the love &amp; support our friends and family have given us. If there is anything that anyone can spare to help me with our monthly bills like rent, car insurance &amp; payment, phone bills, electric &amp; gas, renters insurance, groceries, gas to get to &amp; from her appointments (her oncologist is 45 minutes away and the OSU James Cancer center is 1 1/2 hours away) and just basic necessities it would be greatly appreciated. Because this journey is far from over unfortunately. Hopefully we get cleared from OSU for good, she has to start a new type of radiation every 3 weeks for the melanoma for one year so it doesn’t return. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
