Last summer, our lives changed forever when we lost a close family member abroad. In the middle of our grief, we were faced with the heartbreaking responsibility of bringing our loved one back home. To make this possible, we used all of our savings—and when that wasn’t enough, we had to borrow money. We would do it again without hesitation. Family means everything. But since then, we’ve been struggling to recover financially. The bills have piled up, and despite our best efforts, we are now at risk of losing our home. We are doing everything we can, but we can’t get through this alone. Any support—no matter how small—would mean the world to us. My family and I are going through a difficult time right now. Our mom died for a month ago, and we spend all our savings on a funeral.
