Storm is my American Bully, and I’ve been working with him for about a year to become my service animal. He’s a wonderful companion, and I’m committed to giving him the best care possible so we can continue our journey together.
Recently, I learned that Storm needs to be neutered, but his situation is a bit more complicated than most. He requires special sedation because of his breed, and he has one undescended testicle, which means the surgery is more involved and carries extra risks, including a higher chance of cancer if left untreated. On top of that, Storm gets very excited around other dogs, and neutering may help him feel calmer and more comfortable in those situations.
The funds raised will go directly toward covering Storm’s surgery, the cone he’ll need afterward, take-home medication, the more complex procedure to go into the abdomen, and the vet visit. I want to make sure he gets the care he needs so we can keep working toward his service animal certification and continue supporting each other every day.
I don’t have disability support at the moment, so getting a little help with these costs would mean the world to me. Supporting Storm’s surgery will not only expand his life but also enrich mine in so many ways. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for helping us on this journey.
