Daddy and His World: His Daughter. Hello everyone! My name is Chris, and I am a 49-year-old single father to the most amazing daughter. I have lived my life with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and while it has brought its challenges, I have always done my best to support myself and my daughter. For the past 30 years, I have worked hard to provide for us, even as I faced cancer and other health problems along the way. Despite everything, I have always felt blessed to be her dad and to have the strength to keep going.
Recently, things have become much more difficult. I was officially diagnosed with autism just a month and a half ago, and not long after, I received a letter that my primary care doctor of nearly 20 years is releasing me as a patient. This news has left me confused and worried, especially since I have limited medication left and very little time to find a new doctor. My only option is to return to a previous doctor who is willing to help, but unfortunately, she does not accept my Medicaid. My daughter is also struggling with a major health issue, and I am desperate to make sure we both get the care we need.
I am reaching out because I need help covering a few months of medical bills as a cash patient. I have asked my family for help, but they are unable to support us right now. I am running out of options and time, and I want nothing more than to get back on my feet for my daughter and myself. Any support, no matter how small, will make a difference in our lives. Thank you kindly for every penny and for helping us live our best version of life.
