Our Family’s Simple Living Dream We are a family of five working toward a simpler, more stable life where we can slow down, live more intentionally, and spend more time together. Our goal is to begin an off-grid, self-sufficient lifestyle that allows us to build a stronger foundation for our children. Right now, we are focusing on two first steps: securing a reliable RV for our family to live in and saving for a down payment on a small piece of land. This would give us the stability we need to begin building our future one step at a time. We are doing everything we can on our own — saving, downsizing, and planning carefully — but starting this journey from the ground up is still out of reach without a little help. This change is also important for our family’s wellbeing. I deal with stress-induced seizures, and a more stable, lower-stress home environment is important for my health and our daily life. Being able to create a calm, consistent space for our family is a big part of why we are pursuing this path. We are asking for support to help us secure an RV and a down payment on land so we can begin building a safe, simple, and sustainable life for our children.
