I have have been wheelchair bound since my accident 4 1/2 years ago. Pain has increased significantly over the last three years requiring emergency room visits over 15 times. A stand up wheel chair will change my life significantly. First it will provide relief from the continuous pain. It will also slow the loss of bone density and curvature of my spine from not standing upright. Bowel movement is affected by sitting all day and increases constipation, adding to the pain. Blood circulation would be greatly improved with this wheel chair, another quality of life issue. It will also allow me to be more independent and give me more mobility. I will be able to do more physical therapy since my insurance has stopped covering that expense. Being in pain has led me down a road of depression but a new wheelchair would help me find more joy in life. This injury has also caused me to isolate myself to where I don't reach out to friends or family or even answer the phone. I apologize to those that I have blocked out of my life. If it wasn't for my faith in Jesus Christ, I don't think I would be around to be able to send this message. For those people that know me and grew up with me, we all know too many that have ended their lives too early. So those who feel this kind of depression, have addictions or are contemplating suicide, your are created in an image of God and you have a purpose. Allow God to come into your heart, repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness because he died on a cross for everyone's sins. He was resurrected in 3 days and still lives today. If you are a follower of Christ, please send me a message so that I know I will see you in heaven someday. For those who are not followers of Christ, i hope that with will inspire you to consider Jesus like I have cause it is the only reason I have hope and it helps me through each day. It breaks my heart to know that I may not see some of you in heaven. If you are considering the bible for the first time, please do. Read it as a history book because what it contains is the truth.
