For the last six years, I have been living with advanced osteoarthritis and atrial fibrillation, which have made it increasingly difficult for me to work on my truck or keep up with necessary repairs. At 61 years old, I rely on my vehicle to stay connected with my family, but lately, it has become unsafe to drive. The steering wobbles, the brakes are worn, and the shocks need replacing. I can't drive it more than 35 miles an hour, and every trip feels risky. Because of my disabilities, I am unable to fix these issues myself, and being on SSDI means my budget is extremely limited. I have tried to save what I can, but the repairs needed to make my truck safe again are far beyond what I can afford.

 My greatest wish is to surprise my grandkids in California for Christmas. I haven't seen my granddaughter in ten years, and my youngest daughter just got married—I would love nothing more than to be there with them. The funds raised will go directly toward hiring a car repair shop to replace the brakes, rotors, shocks, and get a front-end alignment. This support would not only make my truck safe to drive but also give me the chance to reunite with my family after so many years apart. Any help you can offer would mean the world to me.
