What they care about

Hurricane Melissa has left deep scars across Pondside and nearby areas. Families have lost homes, livelihoods, and hope. I’ve launched a fundraiser to support

Hurricane Melissa has left a devastating impact on western Jamaica, turning the lives of families and entire communities upside down. My own mother, sister, aunt, cousins, and close friends are among those who have lost their homes and are now struggling without shelter, food, clean water, or basic necessities. Communities like Pondside and surrounding areas in Black River, St. Elizabeth, George's Plain in Westmoreland, and Granville in Montego Bay have been especially hard hit by the storm’s powerful winds and relentless flooding. I am working closely with local groups and churches to coordinate relief efforts, and together we are committed to helping our neighbors recover and rebuild. Our immediate focus is on providing emergency shelter, food, clean water, and essential supplies to those who need it most. Every donation will go directly to supporting families and individuals who have lost everything, ensuring that help reaches them quickly and efficiently. As soon as we receive funding, I will be on the ground with trusted community members, church groups, and friends to distribute aid directly to those affected. We will work alongside local security personnel and police to ensure supplies reach the hardest-hit areas safely. Your support will make a real difference in helping western Jamaica recover from this disaster. Please join us in bringing hope and relief to our community.
