We are raising funds for Ecuador Heart Strings Ensemble, a community Orchestral Ensemble created to showcase the Sounds of Ecuador through a Strings Ensemble format. This project is rooted in a love for Ecuadorian Music genres and a desire to bring it to the US and International communities. We seek the talent of orchestral instrumentalists to together with your generosity bring the Sound of Ecuador to the World.
Our biggest challenge is building the support system needed to bring this vision forward. We need help to spread the word and adversize so we can find talent and funding. We are limited by the time volunteers can give to score writing and rehearsals. Much of this work has so far depended on our own limited resources, and the time we can carve out from our jobs and personal responsibilities.
Support for this fundraiser will help us take important next steps, including maintaining a permanent musical director position, purchasing instruments, music stands and accessories, securing office and rehearsal space, maintaining our website, administration costs, obtaining various formats of orchestral scores, and covering fundraising venue rental and related expenses. Because this is an ongoing need, recurring donations would provide steady support for the ensemble’s continuing operational and rehearsal costs as we grow. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will help us move forward right away.
We are currently working to be ready to perform in special events celebrated in our South Florida communities, and we are happy to announce that our first engagement is Antología del Pasillo to take place on October 10. This opportunity means a great deal to us, and your support can help us live up to the expectation of excellence that we have set upon ourselves.
If you can believe in our Vision, that trough Music we can weave the Heart Strings that can bind our communities together in love, respect and appreciation for one another in a time of great division, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser.
