I'm in need of a car because it's hard for me to get to all my doctor appointments. Last year I almost lost my life from MRSA eating my spine up. The recovery has been long and difficult, and I'm still learning to walk again. There have been many days spent in hospitals and nursing homes, and I continue to work hard every day to regain my strength and independence. Getting to my medical appointments is a huge challenge. I often have to rely on others for rides, and sometimes they just don’t show up, which means I miss important treatments and check-ups. Having my own car would give me the freedom to get to my appointments on time and take care of my health without worrying about transportation. I’m not looking for anything fancy—just something reliable to help me get from A to B and make life a little easier as I continue to heal. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my story.
