 On August 20th, Ashley and Sam’s world was turned upside down when their eldest daughter, Kensley, was involved in a horrific Razor accident.


</div>

 Kensley struck a tree at a high speed and was alone and unconscious for several hours before she was found by her boyfriend. She suffered a severe TBI, two brain bleeds, extensive brain damage, skull fractures, a broken neck, collarbone, shoulder and ribs.


</div>

 She was rushed to Cedar Hospital and then transported to St. George Hospital, where she underwent emergency brain surgery. Doctors removed approximately half of her skull to relieve pressure on her brain and placed a drain to help remove blood and fluid.

 Kensley is also battling a collapsed lung, heart failure, and blood clots in the arteries leading to her brain, which put her at serious risk for stroke and additional bleeding.

 She will be transported to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City for continued specialized care. Her road to recovery will be long and will likely involve additional procedures.

 Ashley, Sam, and their family are facing an unimaginable journey, and the medical and other expenses are already adding up.

In Loving Memory of our Sweet Angel Kensley 

Last week we got some bad news about Onyx. While innocently playing with Maui like they always do Maui somehow jumped on her at the wrong angle and her ACL was completely torn. Due to babying the one leg (and walking across rough terrain on our property) she partially tore her other ACL as well. <br /><br />This poor sweet girl is now not able to walk on either of her back legs making living a normal life impossible. She is currently on pain meds and we have to carry her out to use the bathroom multiple times a day . <br /><br />The good news is that since she is young (2 years old) and otherwise completely healthy the success rate for her surgery is 90-95%. <br /><br />The bad news is that the cost for surgery is VERY expensive and not possible for me to afford anytime soon. She will get the surgery regardless, no matter what I need to do.  She is part of our family and putting down a healthy dog and a member of our family due to ACL tears is NOT an option for us. <br /><br />The initial vet bill was already close to $800.  If we can get both of her legs done during the same sedation the cost will be $8800 (plus whatever needed for her recovery). If needed we can separate the surgeries but the cost would then go up to almost $11000 total- $5500 each leg) .<br /><br />I never in my life considered a GoFundMe. After crying off and on for the past week and assuring my children through their breakdowns and nightmares about losing her I am finally giving in and trying anything possible to get the surgery done sooner than later for her.  I feel selfish asking for help because we have been SO blessed lately with generosity from so many in our lives, but I am out of options on this one. <br /><br />The longer she is on pain meds and not able to use her legs, the lower the chances of full recovery.  I am thinking positive and scheduling the surgery for May. We will postpone the building of our house and I'm trying anything possible to save all I can myself for her, but realistically I know I can't swing this on my own. <br /><br />If you can find it in your heart to even donate a few dollars we would GREATLY appreciate it. My poor kids have had to deal with a lot of loss this year including watching a puppy die in their arms and I can't fathom the idea of them having to lose their best friend. We love Onyx so much and she has so much life left to live.

Surgery for Onyx

Yesterday we lost one of the sweetest souls on earth, and all that knew her know of her kindness and love.  Merilee was a dedicated teacher who wanted nothing but success and happiness for each of her students.  Merilee gave countless hours to her community and church  and impacted so many people throughout the years. Her laugh, her wisdom, her love for learning/reading, and her love for her family, students and friends will surely be missed.  Her sudden passing left holes in MANY hearts. It has left her family With a  heavy burden of funeral costs. Merilee Jones Memorial Fund

On April 4, 2018, Mica Riley was laying in bed with her 3-month-old son Elias.<br /><br />She called for her husband, Adam, who went out to the garage to clean about 15 minutes earlier…<br /><br />She wanted to go check on him because he didn’t answer when she called his name... so she put on her shoes… walked outside… and opened the garage door.<br /><br />What she found has changed their families lives forever…<br /><br />Mica walked out to find Adam unconscious… he had attempted to take his own life.<br /><br />Mica did everything she could to save him… CPR…  screamed for help to neighbors who called emergency services… and had him transported to the hospital.<br /><br />Over the course of the next 11 days… Doctors did everything they could to save his life… Mica was there for every second of it.<br /><br />Unfortunately on April 14, 2018… Doctors let the family know that his brain was no longer functioning.<br /><br />Now… Mica and her 3 children…<br /><br />Emma 5…<br /><br />Ely 2…<br /><br />and Elias 3 months…<br /><br />Have to figure out life without their father/husband… Adam Riley.<br /><br />Mica has been a stay at home mom, raising their beautiful children since Emma’s birth.<br /><br />It’s going to be a long road ahead… and she has to be strong because there are 3 young children who will rely on her to guide, love, and encourage them to live their best life possible.<br /><br />Mica is going to need some help…<br /><br />Help to bury her husband…<br /><br />Help to feed her children…<br /><br />Help to walk the road that lies ahead!<br /><br />If you can find it in your heart to give… it would be greatly appreciated and truly help the Riley Family moving forward!<br /><br /><a href="https://www.facebook.com/mica.riley.37" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mica RIley's Facebook</a>

Adam Riley Funeral Fund

My name is Sarah Cleveland and my mother-in-law recently passed away due to the horrendous cancer.  I'm starting this GoFundMe account for her husband, Aaron, who will need help to cover all costs.<br /><br />Peggy Sue fought really hard to beat cancer that attacked her bones.  While it appeared the treatments had worked at first, unfortuately, it came back with a vengeance.  Peggy Sue went to complete work for her Heavenly Father on 4/30/2016.  While this is a very sad time for us, we're happy that she is no longer in dibilitating pain.  <br /><br />Throughout the years, Peggy Sue had been an amazing person.  She raised two kids all by herself while attending Southern Utah University full time and working for the BLM. She sacrificed everything to make sure her kids had a good childhood. She didn't find her sweet Aaron (as she always referred to him) until after both her kids were married.  <br /><br />Not only did Peggy Sue have cancer, but Aaron does as well.  Because of this, both were unable to continue to work due to the daily pain they were in.  They also both had to do chemo and radiation plus pleny of hospital stays.  <br /><br />Peggy Sue didn't have any sort of insurance.  Soon, Peggy Sue's medical bills will begin rolling in.  Before she passed, she asked her kids to start a GoFundMe account to try to help Aaron with the inevitible bills.  We're not sure what the final total with medical and funeral expenses, but hopefully anything that can put a dent into this new financial burden that has to come with losing a wife.  <br /><br />Peggy Sue was loved by many and spent so much of her time making sure other people were happy.  She gave everything she had to others and because of this, she put off her own life insurance needs.  This is why we are asking for help.  She gave and touched everyone she came in contact with unselfishly. She sacrificed her own wants and needs to make sure everyone else was okay.  <br /><br />We know that many are struggling as well, but we would appreciate any help at all.
