<div><strong>I am raising funds to help carry this amazing girl, Dani Davis, to the next step in her life journey after being wrongfully terminated by Walmart.</strong>

<div><strong>This beautiful girl was harassed and violated by a stranger in the bathroom and then again by Walmart.</strong>

<div><strong>She is a tall, biological cis woman who was verbally assaulted by a man that followed her into a public bathroom in rural, itty bitty Lake City, FL.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>The man, seeing Dani's height, determined that she could not possibly be a "real" female.</strong>
</div>

<div><strong>Dani is 6'4".</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Dani was vulnerable, in a stall when the man entered the bathroom and started yelling expletives, derogatory terms for transgendered people, and threats.</strong>

<div><strong>Dani heard a female voice trying to get the guy to leave. "Baby, get OUT. Youre gonna get in trouble. Let's go!" </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>They (assumingly) left together.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani stayed in the stall for a while longer. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She was frozen. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She was crying. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She was terrified.</strong>
</div>

<div><strong>Dani, a total emotional mess, told her direct supervisor.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>A week later Dani was fired.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>The reason?</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Walmart claims that she did not report her assault to a "salaried member of management". Yup. That's what they told her.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>They called her a security risk.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>She worked there 7 years. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She has never been in trouble. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She was confused, vulnerable and scared when she reported to her team leader. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Her Team Leader, Sharon, seemed concerned and sympathetic - but didn't tell Dani to speak to a higher manager or even offer to pull the tapes so Dani can know what this man looked like. Dani felt defeated.</strong>

<div><strong>Three (3) team leaders terminated her in a meeting. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Dani asked if she could do anything to keep her job. In that moment she felt so vulnerable and rejected. They told her she would have to speak to the store manager to see if he would "open-door" her termination. </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Manager Ian was the only available store manager, Dani asked him how she could fight this termination. She didn't think it was right (if you know my girl, you know how brave she had to be to do this). Dani is a bookworm, quiet, autistic and VERY NONCONFRONTATIONAL. </strong>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani explained her situation to Manager Ian. He was not in the least bit sympathetic as he told her that her Team Leader (supervisor) did exactly as they should have.  Ian said it was a fair termination and CLOSED THE DOOR on her open-door request. </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>She called me and her brother crying her eyes out. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Dani had never been fired before. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She is a happy person and has a strong work ethic. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She was a mess.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Dani worked FULL TIME for Walmart for 7 years. She was making 15.60 an hour. She was cross-trained to work back in the warehouse and also cashier (this is actually kind of uncommon at WalMart).</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Her insurance was through Walmart. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>The majority of her income came from Walmart. Walmart is how she made her car payment, insurance, rent... </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>It is how she has maintained her medical care. Her prescriptions... </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani is also a P/T Tax Pro at H&amp;R Block every year during tax season. H&amp;R Block, has been so amazing to her!  </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>They have been giving her a bunch of extra hours... But tax season is ending. </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani became a Certified Public Notary last year - just for fun. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Dani can officiate a wedding. </strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani did great in school. AP Classes.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Dani's favorite "side hustle" is as a special needs tutor. Dani has autism and as a neurodivergent, she is so gentle and endlessly patient with kids who need extra help. </strong>

<div><strong>Her dream job would be to work with neurodivergent kids full time. ♾️</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Dani is the sweetest, kindest, most honest woman you could know.</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Not a hateful bone in her body. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Dani is a good person with a great work ethic. </strong>
</div>

<div><strong>More than any thing else, Dani wants to move. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>She wants to be somewhere with a strong LGBTQ+ support community. </strong>

<div><strong>We just had another mass shooting in Florida, at a University near to us. </strong>
