Urgent Help Needed for 5-Year-Old Gibson Rivera Theimer

Preslie, my 3 year old cousin, was diagnosed with blood and bone marrow cancer Acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Wednesday April 29. Thursday was a very long day for us as she stared her day with a platelet transfusion followed by a red blood cell transfusion to then be followed by a regular blood transfusion. By 1230 she was whisked away for a bone marrow biopsy, lumbar spine puncture, and a port cath placement. While they were doing those they gave her a dose of Vincristine ( chemo) in her spinal fluid. Once she returned after about 2.5 hours ahe got her 2nd dose of Vincristine again her chemo drug for this month. She has been very good considering all that has happened in such a short period of time. She started about 7 or 8 new meds yesterday which has been a chore to say the least to get her to take as almost all are oral and I can only image taste like shit....I will update daily or as much as possible on here. Please just keep our whole family in your prayers....it will be a long journey as they explained to us that from start to finish of treatment will be about 2.1/4 years long. The first 30 days will be the most important and intense on all of us. We love and thank you all! Side note With Covid we are only allowed 1 parent in here which has been very hard but we will get through this....Thank you all again!

On September 8, 2019, Jamie Ha Tran suddenly passed away at the age of 25 years old. Her loss is a devasting shock to all of those around her, and especially to those that love her. Jamie was incredibly fierce, bubbly, and loving. She loved her friends and family deeply and protectively, and in her own words, to the point of being, "all-consuming, and intimidating, and frightening, and clingy, and suffocating until one finds oneself desperately trying to claw away from the vines". But her love was always with good intentions. She was the kind of person that would fight to the end, to assure that her loved ones get all of the love they deserve, and get nothing but the best. Jamie’s exuberant spirit will be greatly missed by her parents, her cousin, and all our friends and who were lucky to have been blessed by her positive energy. Janet has been fighting for her life and continues to fight for her life while in the hospital. And her health continues to decrease. Janet, through all the pain she has been suffering, continues to fight and stay strong for her family and children. <br /><br />Janet is a very generous and caring person. To those who knew Janet, they would know that she takes care of those around her, without asking for help, she’d help you in all the possible ways she could and put all her energy in helping those she loves. She is the person you go to when your feeling defeated and she will help you to get back up and not give up. As a family, we continue to be strong for Janet but it is very difficult to do so when the person you love is currently in pain. She was our rock in the family, and now it's our turn to return the love and support she showed each of us during our times of need.<br /><br />We the family need help to help her kids grow, help her husband survive through the onslaught of things to come and to cover any after hospital fees or expenses needed to help us in our time of grief. <br /><br />She will forever be greatly loved and will continue to be loved after this journey has come to an end.
