What they care about

Single mom rebuilding after loss. No family support, just faith, hope, and the will to keep going for my child. Thank you for seeing us. 💛

Our family is facing an unexpected and overwhelming season, and we are asking for prayers and support for our newest family member, Kneagen Dale, and his parents. Kneagen was born and was immediately admitted to the NICU at UMMC. Doctors determined that he suffered a brain bleed caused by a laceration to his head, most likely occurring as he passed through the birth canal during delivery. He is currently sedated, on a ventilator, and being closely monitored while doctors take things day by day. At this time, there are still many unknowns, including how long he will remain in the NICU. At the same time, Kneagen’s mom—my sister—is also recovering from serious delivery complications. Although she has been discharged, she is unable to fully feel her legs and requires a walker due to collapsing when trying to walk on her own. Despite this, her only focus is being near her baby during this critical time. Both parents are traveling over an hour from home to remain close to Kneagen, which has created unexpected expenses during an already emotional and exhausting situation. Funds raised will help cover food while they are at the hospital, gas and travel expenses, parking, basic necessities, and day-to-day needs as Kneagen remains in the NICU. Their focus right now needs to be on healing and being present for their baby, not worrying about finances. If you’re able to donate here, it would mean so much. Gift cards for gas, food, or Walmart are also a huge help. If you’d like to donate directly, I can share their Cash App or other payment options. Any support—donations, shares, or prayers—means the world to us. We are taking this one day at a time and trusting God through it all. Thank you for supporting our family.
