Founded by Sachiko and Yoichi Amano on Valentine’s Day in 1978, Ten-Ichi began as a modest dream of two young immigrants with two young children trying to get somewhere in the world. After 46 years, it has become a beloved cornerstone of the community, passed down to their children, Steve and Saori who uphold the legacy with the same love and commitment. Now it is time to save Ten Ichi and help Steve and Saori find Ten Ichi’s new home! Ten-Ichi is being forced out of its Fillmore Street location. All funds raised will go to finding and opening a new location for Ten-Ichi in San Francisco.

I have been on dialysis for the past year. Since finding out two years ago that I have stage 4 kidney failure, I have not been able to work. I have been in the hospital at least 20 times because my kidneys were gone and I’ve had many viruses due to my kidney’s inability to filter blood. Most recently, I found out I have chronic pancreatitis, which is very painful. Because I have not been able to work the past two years, I am behind on all of my bills, including my high medical bills. I was also told I need to be out of my house by the end of the month. I have 2 babies (my son and my daughter) that I take care of. My ultimate goal is to provide for my family, which has been very difficult these past couple years. I also want to take care of myself through this process. I would love the option to get on holistic medicine, however, I can't afford it at this time. I Additionally, my insurance doesn't pay for a lot of my medicine, so I have to go without it. This has all really been affecting my body and livelihood. I want to be around to raise my children. I want to see them go to college and play sports. I want to be a big part of their lives as long as possible. Any amount of money that you can donate will truly help my family and I through this difficult time.

Bill was as giving a philanthropist, as he was a teammate, always quietly behind the scenes, helping someone with something!

<div>The incomparable William “Bill” Beausoleil, Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University in 1981. Bill or “Beau,” as he was affectionately known by his friends, passed away unexpectedly in August 2020. A greater teammate, friend and father, you could not find.

<div>Bill always spoke highly of and was quite proud of the education he received at Clarkson, which led him to a successful career in the construction industry. Considered an industry sage and trusted advisor to his colleagues, Bill worked his way from superintendent to general foreman, focusing on large, complex commercial buildings in the Northeast and Georgia, including hospital, office, and hotel structures. Bill’s industry knowledge and experience were second to none.

Daryl Edwards Jr graduated from LSU and was planning to play overseas in May. On April 7 the car Daryl was in <br />was hit by a drunk driver , leaving him with several broken bones . He broke both legs , right elbow , his vertebrae and his lower spine . My name is Dylan Brandys. I am a 24 years old Christ follower who has been suffering with symptoms of a severe concussion since November of 2017. I am seeking a blessing of funds to pay for treatment at Cognitive FX in Provo Utah. Cognitive FX is the premiere concussion treatment facility in the world. Treatment is scheduled for May 2019. The funds will cover treatment and travel and some post-treatment therapy.<br /><br /><br />Since the concussion, my life has been riddled with a complex plethora of symptoms that influence and impact my daily life. Symptoms like; fatigue, lack of focus and attention, insomnia, alexithymia, constant tingling in my head, distorted visual memory, a deep sense of disconnect from others and myself, restlessness (my brain hasn’t been producing neurotransmitters properly) and medical depression.<br /><br /><br />While it is scary for me to ask for your help, I know I am worthy of being helped. I am worth your blessing and investment for a couple of reasons; I am a child of the Father and I have inherent value and worth as an Image-bearer; My life isn't my own and hasn't been for some time. I’ve been walking with Jesus for almost 8 full years. In that time, I've seen who I am His son in His kingdom; I’ve seen Him reconcile me with my family, I’ve seen Him father me into the man He's made me to be in His image.  He has burdened my heart with His heart for the nations. And he has spent a life time preparing me for His calling, so that Jesus may get His full reward.<br /><br /><br />Cognitive FX ( <a href="https://www.cognitivefxusa.com" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.cognitivefxusa.com</a> ) uses a multi-disciplinary team combined with brain imaging technology to customize an treatment protocol to meet the individual needs of each patient. Cognitive FX promises a 75% reduction in post-concussion symptoms. My treatment is scheduled to begin May 6th. And if I can afford it, my hope is to be there for 2 weeks. <br /><br />While I’m on this path, I am still holding hope and asking Father for a supernatural healing. Healed better than I was before the concussion. I hope to get back to Colorado Christian University and finish my degree at one of the best spiritually integrated psychology programs in the world. Blanca and her friends have declared an all out war on Blanca’s cancer.   Read the story of her  fight below and join them! <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/27078790_1517122704.2721_funddescription.jpg" alt="27078790_1517122704.2721_funddescription" /><br />There are certain seminal moments in life. <br /><br />I was at a youth swim meet at the <br />El Paso Tennis Club pool a decade ago standing by a mom whose kid had just lost First Place by a fingertip and the kid asked, <br /><br />“Did I lose mom”? <br /><br />To which the mom replied,<br /><br />“You never lose my wonderful Fraysito,  you either win or you learn.”<br /><br />I became good friends with this amazing woman from that moment on. <br /><br />Her name is Blanca  Gaspar de Alba and those who have been so fortunate to be part of her life, know she is a saint on earth. <br /><br />Initially diagnosed with Stage IV Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in January 2007 while working on her Masters In Education, our uber- courageous friend at that point withdrew from UT El Paso to kick cancer’s ass, and in point of fact, she did! <br /><br />“It’s going to take a heckeva lot more than an invasive cancerous carcinoma to slow Blanca down”, <br />said her life long friend  Patti Baca. <br /><br />She returned in the fall of 2007 to complete her Master’s degree and went on to become a game changing 1st grade teacher at EPISD’s Logan Elementary - she was recently awarded Logan’s Teacher of the Year. <br /><br />Blanca was in Remission for 7 yrs  but the. Cancer returned.<br /><br />She was diagnosed with bone metastasis in 2014. <br /><br />In 2016 she was diagnosed with liver metastasis and her CT scan just last month in December 2017 show her illness continuing to progress.<br /><br />She is on her last FDA approved treatment and her highly regarded oncologist has recommended we try an Alternative Solution. <br /><br />Blanca is “all in” and her friends are <br />“all in” and her extraordinary kids agree! <br />Her daughter Bianca Nunez ( a scholarship student athlete softball player out of El Paso High) is now studying to be a master sommelier in Fredericksburg, Texas. <br />Blanca’s son Fray Nunez  (a former star Mini Dribbler in his Mesita years) is now a star student, swimmer and volleyball junkie, and junior at El Paso high.<br /><br />Toward that end, we ask you all for a contribution to reach our goal of $8,000 which is needed to pay for out of pocket expenses as she undergoes alternative treatment.  I will share more about this cutting edge treatment and medicine as we go on and fight the battle with Blanca together. <br /><br />We have set up a medical expense account with a trustee at the West Star Bank and all the philanthropic funds you gift will go right from the GoFundMe Page to that West Star Account. <br /><br />Please consider a gift of any amount, <br />10, 50, 100, or $8,000.<br /><br />What we want for Blanca to see is the great # of people who want to help - that’ll get our friend fired up and can inspire and heal.<br /><br />Thank you everyone.
