My name is Carol, and I’m reaching out because my family and I have been hit with one challenge after another this past year. It started with last year’s heat bill, which set us back financially. Then, my car was totaled in a hit-and-run accident. We managed to buy a truck to keep us going, but just three months later, a deer ran out in front of us and caused another accident. Unfortunately, our insurance only covered the state minimum, so we’re left with a damaged vehicle and no help from the insurance company. On top of that, we’re now facing a tow bill and more unexpected expenses. These setbacks have made it hard to keep up with our bills, and I’m worried about how we’ll manage to get back on our feet. The funds from this fundraiser will help us pay the tow bill, catch up on overdue bills, and buy the car parts we need to get back on the road. This support will make a huge difference in our daily lives. It will help us make it to our many doctor’s appointments for chronic illnesses and allow me to get to work, so we don’t risk losing everything we’ve worked so hard for.
