Gianna, Jennifer’s beloved daughter, has endured an unimaginable journey over the past year. After a traumatic motor vehicle accident, Gianna has been hospitalized for twelve months, facing more than 20 major surgeries. Despite her incredible strength and resilience, she remains in the hospital, with a long road ahead before she can reach a full recovery. The emotional and physical toll on Gianna has been immense, and the impact on Jennifer’s family has been profound.

 Throughout this difficult year, Jennifer and her family have done everything possible to support Gianna, but the challenges continue to grow. The mounting medical bills, ongoing travel expenses to and from the hospital, and the costs of rehabilitation are overwhelming. Every day is filled with uncertainty, and the stress of not knowing how much longer Gianna will need to stay in the hospital weighs heavily on the entire household. Jennifer’s family is doing their best, but they cannot do it alone.

Support Gianna’s Recovery After Traumatic Accident

<div>On July 19th, Gianna Anderson and several of her friends—fresh out of high school—were in a devastating car accident. Two of her friends tragically lost their lives that night. Gianna survived, but she suffered severe, life-threatening injuries and has been fighting ever since.

<div>It has now been 7 months since that night — and Gianna is still in the hospital.

<div>In these 7 months, Gianna has had 14 surgeries, and she is undergoing another one today (2/10). She suffered a shattered pelvis, a broken arm, multiple broken ribs, serious internal organ damage, and extensive nerve damage. She needed emergency surgery to stop internal bleeding and spent time in the ICU. Since then, her days have been filled with procedures, pain management, and the slow, exhausting work of recovery.

<div>On top of everything, Gianna’s mom — who has been by her side every single day — lost her job in December because caring for Gianna became a full-time responsibility. Being there for her daughter wasn’t a choice; it was a necessity. Unfortunately, that has created even more financial strain during an already overwhelming time.

<div>The medical bills continue to grow with each surgery, each procedure, each day... And while life has felt paused for our family, everyday expenses haven’t stopped.
