Axel Wallstrom

Hi everyone, I’m creating this fundraiser for my close friend Alex, a 16-year-old who recently came to Switzerland from Spain. Life here has been incredibly difficult for him, and despite how hard he tries, he simply can’t keep up with the cost of living. Alex is one of the kindest and most hardworking people I know, but the reality is that he’s struggling. Most days he goes without basic things that many of us take for granted - like clothes that fit or resources for school. To give just one example: He’s been wearing the same pair of jeans every single day. They’re faded with blue paint spots, brown stains on the side, and pen markings that won't wash out. He never complains, but it’s clear he feels embarrassed and out of place, especially in school. I want Alex to feel supported, confident, and hopeful again. Every donation will go directly toward essentials such as clothing, school supplies, transportation, and other basic needs as he works toward a more stable future here.
