My name is Claudia, and I am asking for help for my beloved Sol. Sol is 6 years old and weighs only 8.5 pounds, but she has a huge place in my heart and in our family. She is not just my pet, Sol is my emotional support companion. She has been by my side through some of the most difficult moments of my life, always there to comfort me, make me smile, and give me unconditional love. She is a very important part of my family. A few weeks ago, I noticed that Sol started limping on her back left leg. At first, we hoped it was just a minor injury and that she would get better with rest. Unfortunately, her condition did not improve. After veterinary examination and X-rays, we learned the heartbreaking news: Sol has a tear of the left cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), along with early arthritis in both of her back legs. Her veterinarian has recommended surgery to repair the torn ligament. Without treatment, Sol will continue to experience pain and difficulty walking, and the instability in her knee can lead to worsening arthritis and other problems. Unfortunately, the cost of this surgery in New York is more than I can afford. I am doing everything I can to find an affordable option and to get Sol the treatment she needs, but I cannot do this alone. I am asking for your help to give Sol a chance to walk, run, and enjoy life without pain again. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to us. Now I want to do everything I can to give that love back to her.
