<div>You could genuinely change the lives and future of not one, but two incredible humans -  twin brothers, Mason &amp; Finley.

<div>Mason and Finley are 12-year-old twin brothers, and two of the funniest, cheekiest, most quick-witted boys you’ll ever meet. They light up every room, roast everyone who enters it (lovingly of course), and face life with a grin that would make you think nothing is ever hard. But behind that smile, their daily world is filled with challenges most of us will never have to imagine, let alone navigate.

<div>Both boys are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. While their disability doesn’t define them, it does mean they require 1:1 support for almost all aspects of life - toileting, showering, dressing, meal prep, feeding, transfers, accessing their wheelchairs, community outings, sports, school participation, extracurriculars and more. Every task that is automatic for most children is only possible for them with help.

<div>2. Why We Need Help

<div>In 2023, my fiancé Peter (their dad) and I purchased a new home - one that offered more space and accessibility than our last. But despite our best efforts, it still needs significant modifications for the boys to continue building independence safely. Ramps, bathroom accessibility, transfer spaces, hoist systems, widened doorways and bedrooms, safe flooring, specialised cabinetry, wheelchair-friendly layouts - these aren’t luxury extras, they are essential for our boys’ dignity, safety, and development.

<div>While we are working closely with NDIS, the process is long, exhausting, unpredictable, and emotionally draining, with no guarantee of funding, and most likely a large out of pocket cost. There is no clear timeline and no guarantee of what will be approved. With the current cost of living, we simply cannot afford to complete the necessary renovations on our own.

<div>3. Why We’re Turning to Community
</div>

<div>Community has brought me joy, connection, belonging, and opportunities I never expected. I don’t often show this part of our life, not because I’m ashamed or because it’s sad - but because it’s simply our normal. We love these boys fiercely, we advocate endlessly, and every day we just do our best.

<div>4. How Funds Will Be Used
</div>

<div>Every dollar raised will go directly toward improving Mason and Finley’s daily life and long-term independence.

<div>Funds will support:

<div>• essential home modifications (bathroom accessibility, ramping, hoists, transfers, widened access, kitchen cabinetry, accessible appliances, etc.)
</div>
<div>• specialised equipment
</div>
<div>• mobility needs
</div>
<div>• therapy and medical appointments not fully funded elsewhere

<div>If we are fortunate enough to exceed renovation needs, remaining funds will be used solely for the boys’ ongoing care, access, equipment and support, or donated to a charity that supports research into Cerebral Palsy.

<div>Please, no negativity - this is simply our reality. A beautiful family with beautiful boys who deserve a safe, functional, accessible home and the chance to grow with dignity, confidence, and independence.
