As First Nation, Métis, and Inuit genocide survivors, we stand united in peaceful assembly and ceremony, resisting Bill 5 &amp; C-5 and all other acts that undermine our treaties with the Imperial Crown, disregard Anishinaabe law, and disrespect the clan system that guides our relationships.</strong>

We rise for ALL children, our future generations, who deserve to grow up on their ancestral lands, free from the threats of pipelines, fracking, and environmental degradation. We rise for the animals, our relatives, who suffer alongside us in this crisis. We rise for the land, our mother, who provides for us and demands our respect.</strong>

<div><strong>Every creek, river, and lake is sacred to us, and we assert our inherent rights to protect and steward these waters in accordance with our laws and treaties. We reject any attempt to remove or desecrate these waters, which are essential to our way of life, our culture, and our identity.</strong>

<div><strong>The Robinson-Huron Treaty and other treaties guarantee our rights to hunt, fish, and gather on our traditional territories. We will not allow these rights to be infringed upon or diminished. Our sovereignty and inherent rights are not negotiable. Our treaty rights are sacred agreements that must be honored.</strong>

<div><strong>Bill 5 - Bill C-5 and similar legislation impose colonial frameworks that disregard our rights and title to our lands and waters. We reject any attempt to undermine our treaties with the Imperial Crown, which were made in good faith and must be respected. We call attention to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), the human trafficking facilitated by man camps, and the displacement of First Nation treaty holders and the children. </strong>
