<div>The Crow family is facing an unimaginable loss after their beloved son, Caden, passed away in a tragic accident on Saturday morning. Caden was just 22 years old and studying to be a pharmacist at Texas A&amp;M. He touched the lives of everyone who knew and loved him, and his absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved him most.

<div>For those who knew Caden well, it will be no surprise to hear that even in the moments before his passing, he touched the lives of the surgeon, doctors, and nurses that were trying to save his life. In true Caden fashion, he shouted “Lock it in, Caden!” just before the medical team in College Station prepared him for transfer to the Medical Center in Houston.

<div>In the wake of this tragedy, the Crow family is navigating not only the emotional pain of losing Caden but also the financial burden of medical expenses and the funeral. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering these expenses, as well as providing support to the family as they grieve and begin to try and heal.  Additionally, funds will be used to set up an Endowment to fund scholarships for Texas A&amp;M students in Caden's honor. <div>Hello my name is Darcy and my partner and I are parents of 5 kids, two grown college kids and 3 who live with me full time 15, 13, and 6. Two of my kids are autistic and have special needs. I have been disabled with multiple sclerosis since 2012 and my partner is a teacher at two local middle schools to make ends meet. We have been living in our home since 2014 and are currently facing possible displacement.

<div>We are looking to raise the funds needed to cover the default amount of $21,000 to not face foreclosure, and if not, at least a down payment of at least $10k if we are forced to buy the house at market value to ensure we are not out-priced out of own city. Which will unfortunately be the case if we are forced to sell.

<div>Our current residence is under my ex husband’s name. In our divorce decree, finalized in 2021. I was given the right to refinance and a sum of family support to help maintain the family. Since June 2021 my ex has accrued over $55,000 in family support debt, has kept me from refinancing the loan in a timely manner, and has allowed the loan to end up in a default due to his decision-making. He requested a forbearance for the year of 2024 then did not complete the required review for modification to allow the loan to become up to date, this is because my ex decided he wants to sell the house, instead of allowing me to refinance. (We have a court date 4/7)

<div>Because of this, the refinance is currently in limbo and my ex is taking me to court to convince a judge to displace us so he can “pay me back” what he owes me in retroactive support.

<div>On May 3, 2003, while practicing at 3 Palms Motocross Park in Conroe Texas. I went over the handlebars while working on a rhythm section breaking my C 3, 4, 5 &amp; 6 vertebras rendering me a quadriplegic.
</div>
<div>In hindsight, there was nothing I could have done differently. It was simply an unfortunate accident.
</div>
<div>In 2017 I began having severe abdominal issues. After first removing my gallbladder then a few months later, dilating the sphincter above my stomach I was labeled a hypochondriac, In September ’23, I finally found a Dr that realized my gut motility was nonexistent. In February ‘24 A Surgeon had to remove 18” of my large intestine and do a Colostomy thinking it would fix the problem with my gut. After giving the procedure several months, I did not improve. Then most recently on the 5th of August the same Surgeon had to do an ileostomy. This set off my current situation.
</div>
<div>On the 10th of August I had two mini-strokes and had to be incubated for two days to keep me alive. I remained in the ICU for several days afterwards. I was finally released from the hospital on Friday the 23rd of August.
</div>
<div>Fast forward to the 6th of September I have been unable to eat solid food, and I am extremely malnourished. It has been nearly 8 weeks since I have eaten solid food.
</div>

<div>Despite my reluctance to reach out for help – I realize it’s now time to swallow my pride and ask for help. I would be deeply grateful for any amount of donation – and I would also be equally grateful if you would pass this plea around to all of your social media constituents. It would help me, without a doubt, but it would also take some of the burden off my loving parents.

<div>Sadly, I need to share his name…Aiden McCarthy. And he needs more of our help. His parents Irina &amp; Kevin were killed during the July 4 shooting. At two years old, Aiden is left in the unthinkable position; to grow up without his parents.

The wheelchair I’ve got now is</span><span> no longer </span><span>wide enough for </span><span>my hips because</span><span> of the previous operations, due to the severity of being in bed for two years, I need a lot of physical therapy and $500 for rent is why I need your help and </span><span>support. </span>

<div>on October 7th, around 9:20pm my house caught on fire from downstairs. I was able to safely get my grandpa and my sister and my dog Nymeria outside. Unfortunately my rabbit Lemon and our two black cats Luna and Binx did not make it. The house was my childhood home and the place where my mother died in 2013. The home was always an absolute struggle being 25 and not a lot of money to care for things like I should. My home, though sad, was filled with my photos of my mom and my deceased grandmother. All of their things were still in the home. All of it lost.

Our House burned down

Kelsey Nalepa Memorial Fund

At the 11th year mile marker of living in a wheelchair, I’ve been tough skinned & only formed only a single sore just post to the catastrophic injury. Today, I tell you of the past 365 days, 1 full calendar year, where I’ve “only” been out of a hospital, skilled nursing facility or rehab center for approximately 2 - 3 months.<br /><br />In January, 2016 blisters popped up on the back of each heel due to not getting socks pulled up before leaving for a doctors appt. While submerged inside the backs of each shoe, it only took around four hours for this to take place, and yet still I’m still having to protect them from reopening as I lay in this hospital while typing this. Following the heels blistering & breaking open into stage 4 pressure ulcers, I’m forced to float them adding pressure on my calves to where they unfortunately opened to the ligaments, tendons & bones being exposed in February, 2016. The dark cloud era continued from mid-April through June as I transferred to a skilled nursing facility in West Houston and suffered from a Foley catheter change, however, due to the lack of movement I slowed to; blood cloths began to form behind my right knee, hamstring and groin areas. This lead to an ultimate set back as I received 15 pints of blood, 11 platelets and 3 full months of some intense suffering as I fought through it with close family, selected friends & keeping everything hush from social media to not scare fans. I underwent my 32nd surgery where they put in a suprapubic catheter to relieve the profusely bleeding area/areas.<br /><br />I was released from Kindred Town & Country’s L-TAC unit from extensive antibiotic treatments to “The Pointe” skilled nursing facility in Webster of June, 2016. Thankfully, I was quickly transferred to Kindred Rehab Webster to be under the guidance, knowledge and sharpness of Dr. Lewis K. Clarke, M.D. Ph., D. who practices an outside of the box approach to medicines treating SCI’s, strokes, M.S., TBI’s, etc. The absolute best doctor I’ve had and was a huge asset to my 2006 supercross success prior to my catastrophic injury. While there in rehab, we trained “Hard!” I came out more physically, mentally & emotionally fit than I’ve been since sitting down (a huge thank you to my PT & OT departments who were fantastic in their areas along with amazing communication, we made huge strides!) <br />I was released back into my community, just as my foundations Mission Statement reads. I was so happy to be back at it! Hospital Bills Funding Needed

While everyone seemed to be posting joyful photos of their Christmas, a heartbroken mother's from Houston Texas posted the following:<br /><br />"I keep thinking its a nightmare that I will wake up from... But tonight we lost our little boy. Carson passed away after Joel found him lifeless and not breathing in his crib. My sister @carriecolton87 bravely did CPR until help arrived, but it was too late. He died from SIDS tonight. I will miss his smile and his cute baby laugh. Hill Family SIDS Tragedy Support

It is with heavy hearts this morning that we need to let everyone know that we lost our beloved Coach Tyler last night in a motorcycle accident. Please bear with us all as we deal with this tragic loss to our family.  This fund is being set up to help Tyler's family with his final expenses.  Thank you.

Tyler Buelow Sigears Memorial Fund

Family of 5 killed &amp; one child in hospital in critical condition .They where hit by a drunk driver going the wrong way on North Sam Houston Pkwy.It killed the mother &amp; father, Elvira Santoyo &amp; Valentine Guzman. 3 of their children, Ani &amp; Patricia &amp; their 3 yr old baby boy.Their oldest daughter is in critical condition in hospital.<br /> We  are excepting any donations that anyone is willing to donate to this family , please click on link if you would like to donate. Peter Thyssen is survived by a loving family, his wife Ann and two small children.  There has been an incredible outpouring of love and support from family and friends.  <br /><br />This is an avenue to support the Thyssens through this difficult time by raising funds for immediate financial needs, support services for the children, and for the future education of Peter's son and daughter.<br /><br />So many of us want to help, and all contributions will go directly toward these causes.
