<div>Prue's medical journey began in 2017 when she was just a baby, she was admitted to Kapiolani Children's Hospital on Oahu, and at that time doctors found she had abnormal blood cells, they gave her antibiotics to help and she was sent home.

<div>Five years later, May 2022. Prue got really sick, suffering from fevers and nose bleeds. Her mom Des, decided to take Prue to her pediatrician hoping to get answers. Her pediatrician ran multiple tests and found Prue had a virus called EBV along with abnormal size lymph nodes and abnormal blood cells. Since then she has been getting fevers every month sometimes twice a month. So Prue has been taking blood work every month since May 2017.

<div>On Sept 11 , 2023 Des had took her to see her pediatrician due to she was running fevers , nose bleeds , gum bleeding , sore pains in her tummy , vomiting &amp; diarrhea. Her pediatrician took her blood &amp; the next day called Des letting her know she will be referring her to a hematologist due to her blood work came back once again abnormal and also showing a blood disorder.

<div>On Sept 12, 2023, Prue was again taken to Kapiolani Children's hospital because of constant fever, nose bleed, gum bleed , really bad pains on the right side of her tummy and vomiting. Right away doctors admitted Prue and have been under multiple doctors care , including the ID ( Infectious Disease Doctors) and ran test to find her blood abnormal, lymph nodes abnormal. She was given multiple antibiotics and have been monitoring her trying to figure out what’s wrong with her .

<div>On Saturday Sept 19,2023 she was discharged and told to follow up with pediatrician, along with a referral for a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and ID doctors. Still at that time Prue was still suffering from pains on her right side of tummy .

<div>On Monday Sept 18 , 2023 Prue went to follow up with her Pediatrician. She was still having fevers and her tummy still was hurting . Her pediatrician had notice that she had more enlarged lymph nodes and told Des that she will update the hematologist. Which Prue has an appointment with the hematologist on Thursday Sept 28 ,2023 at 10am.

<div>On Sept 20 ,2023 Prue was admitted back into Kapiolani Hospital for fever’s and Her tummy still in pain . The doctors have decided to do an CT scan finding she was backed up with a lot of stool , so gave her medicine to help to flush her out . During this time of her staying in the hospital they had took more blood work , a stool sample. The doctors found same thing abnormal blood cells meaning her red blood cells are a different shape and smaller then normal and they also diagnosed her with the H. Pylori (Helicobacter pylori) infection disease which is H. pylori is a type of bacteria that infects your stomach. It attacks your stomach and the first part of your small intestine (duodenum). This can cause redness and swelling (inflammation). Many people with the bacteria won't have any symptoms. It can cause open sores called peptic ulcers in your upper digestive tract. So they have put her on two more antibiotics Amoxicillin &amp; Metronidazole 250MG tablets.

<div>Prue has been in the hospital this month for almost three weeks. Admitted on Sept 12 through 16, was sent home and again on Sept 19 through 24 . Each time they found more and more things wrong with Prue, but still no actual answers.

<div>Des is the owner and operator of Prue Glam Studio, she has not been in the salon and working on her clients during this time. She is grateful to all of her clients for being so understanding and supportive. With the limited resources here on Oahu, her family has decided to take Prue to the mainland to receive care from a specialist who will be able to give proper treatment for Prue's condition.

<div>Lets all help Des and her family as they prepare to travel to the mainland for answers for Prue's medical journey, funds will go directly to Des , Brandon &amp; Prue and will help for travel costs, medical bills, expenses for any bills while she is not working, and for peace of mind while she is by her daughters side through out this time.
