<div>Jamar is a close friend whom I’ve known for quite some time. His story truly touched my heart when I learned that he is a single father working diligently to make ends meet while doing his best to provide for his family. Over the past few years while living in Jamaica, Jamar has faced several painful challenges, including the loss of his father and significant damage caused by Hurricane Beryl and Hurricane Melissa. Despite these hardships, he has remained determined and continues working hard every day to rebuild his life and keep his farm running.

<div> Through perseverance and dedication, Jamar has continued serving his community with fresh food and produce, but he still faces major obstacles. One of his biggest challenges is transportation. With limited access to a reliable vehicle, it has become difficult for him to deliver goods efficiently to customers and members of the community who depend on his farm. We are raising funds to help him purchase reliable transportation so he can continue growing his farm, serving the community, and expanding access to fresh food for those who need it most.

<div>Hi! My name is Kristia and I’m just putting this out in the universe. Some of you know the story of how my Mom and I fell in love with a historical 17th century Spanish Fort that we are converting. Our vision is a one-of-a-kind boutique guest house.

<div>Have we been in over our heads? Of course! Did we know what we were getting ourselves into? Of course not!

<div>Less than 4 months ago, Kimberly, our beloved mother, sister, cousin, niece and dear friend to others, was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer. This very aggressive  cancer has spread throughout her body - including her brain, kidneys, and liver.

<div>Since her diagnosis, Fox Chase Cancer Center has been the exclusive provider of her radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and Lumakras (targeted therapy) treatments.
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, despite the medical staff’s efforts, they all have proven unsuccessful. It has been determined that her condition is terminal and a hospice facility is best suited to care for her. At the time of this writing (1/4/2022), Kimberly's life expectancy is a few weeks to one month.

<div>To those of us who love and adore her, Kimberly is easily the funniest, most loving, most caring person this side of heaven. At only 47 years young, with her next birthday on January 5th, she is a proud  mother of 2 and has spent twenty years in the health-care field. As the end nears, she will be leaving behind a son, a daughter, and 2 grandchildren that she actively supported.  She will be sorely missed.

<div>So it is with a very heavy heart that we, Kimberly's family, ask for your financial support to help cover the cost of the unexpected obligation of ensuring the most comfortable life for Kimberly before she makes her final transition.
