Hi, my name is Namarah, and I’m from the Parish of Hanover, Jamaica. The eye of Hurricane Melissa passed directly over our community and devastated everything in its path. Homes, schools, and health centers were destroyed, and many families have lost everything — shelter, food, clothing, and hope. Our people are struggling to recover from this disaster. Many are now homeless, hungry, and in need of urgent care and support. As someone with family and loved ones still there, I felt the need to step in and do whatever I can to help rebuild our community. This fundraiser is to provide immediate relief and recovery support for the families affected by Hurricane Melissa in Hanover, Jamaica. Your donations will go toward: Emergency shelter and rebuilding homes Food and clean water Clothing and basic supplies Medical services and care for those injured or displaced Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference.
