Our family is going through one of the hardest times we’ve ever faced, and we are asking for help during this difficult moment. José Choc has always been a hardworking, caring, and devoted father and partner who did everything he could to support his family and be there for the people he loves. Right now, his absence has left his family struggling emotionally and financially. His daughters miss their father every single day, and the stress of trying to keep everything together has been overwhelming.

<div>My dog Ollie was recently attacked by another dog on Tuesday, February 10th. I rushed him to the hospital, and we were told his injuries weren’t too severe and that with medication his wounds would heal. He was improving, but recently he began having trouble breathing after eating or drinking water.

<div>I took him back to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with an oro-nasal fistula, a hole in the roof of his mouth connecting to his nose that requires surgery to repair.

<div>Ollie does not have insurance to help cover emergency visits, so everything so far has been paid out of pocket. Unfortunately, the surgery he urgently needs will not be covered either. The unexpected hospital visits and upcoming procedure have become financially overwhelming.

<div>Mi perro Ollie fue atacado recientemente por otro perro el martes 10 de febrero. Lo llevé de urgencia al hospital y nos dijeron que sus lesiones no eran muy graves y que con medicación sanarían. Estaba mejorando, pero recientemente empezó a tener dificultad para respirar después de comer o beber agua.

<div>Lo llevé de nuevo al hospital, donde le diagnosticaron una fístula oronasal, un orificio en el paladar que conecta con la nariz y que requiere cirugía para su reparación.

<div>Ollie no tiene seguro médico que cubra las visitas de emergencia, así que hasta ahora lo ha pagado todo de mi bolsillo. Desafortunadamente, la cirugía que necesita urgentemente tampoco estará cubierta. Las visitas inesperadas al hospital y el próximo procedimiento se han vuelto abrumadores económicamente.

Help Ollie Get the Surgery He Needs

<div>Hello, my name is Kimberly and a few months ago my father was unfortunately detained by immigration. He’s being deported in just a few days and my family has scraped by to make ends meet. I’m currently looking into a job to help out my mother who’s been trying her absolute best for our family; in charge of payments with due dates, food all while handing the situation with my father since his detainment. Sacrificing a lot of time, effort and money paying an attorney all while balancing this chaos; his court case going south. Until being able to secure a job to help out, any donation would be much appreciated. I want to take a weight off her shoulders even if it’s for a little while.
