Jamie Nipper

My name is Jamie Nipper. My mother, Lisa Nipper, was in a serious car accident on October 28th. She spent 3 weeks in the hospital and is now in rehabilitation with multiple injuries: a fractured neck, a broken left ankle, and both bones in her right knee broken. She cannot put weight on her leg yet. I am her only caretaker, so I haven’t been able to work. I visit her every day, but our car was totaled in the accident, and I can no longer afford Uber rides. I now ride my bike 20 minutes each way. She has fallen eight times in rehab, so I need to be there as much as possible. I’m struggling to pay our bills and basic necessities like rent, food, and transportation. My grandmother passed away a month before the accident, and my brother is in prison, so it’s just me caring for my mom. We also lost my sister in 2011, so things have been very hard. Any help—no matter how small—would mean so much. Donations will go toward essentials and transportation to see my mother. And for rent and food.
