My Aunt and cousins have experienced unimaginable loss after a devastating wildfire swept through their property. In a matter of minutes, the fire destroyed their home, cars, their wedding chapel, multiple storage buildings, my cousin's dress shop, and all of their personal belongings inside the house. They had no insurance on anything that was lost so the impact has been overwhelming, leaving them with nothing but the support of loved ones.
<br />
<br />
 Right now, they are staying in a camper at my grandma's house, trying to figure out what to do next. All donations will go directly to my aunt to help her and my cousins get a stable place to live. Once they have a place to call home again, the next goal is to start rebuilding the dress shop and the wedding chapel that meant so much to our family.
<br />
<br />
 Thank you for all the support, every dollar this raises will go towards getting them back on their feet and to help rebuild their life. Your kindness and generosity will make a world of difference as they work to recover from this tragedy and look forward to a brighter future.<br /><br />This money is all being raised for my aunt Ginger Hunter. She is the beneficiary on this fund raiser so all the money will go directly to her. The money raised will be used to help get them into a stable home.

Help My Family Rebuild After Wildfire

<div>My name is Cajun, and my family and I are from Pasadena, California. Our family home, a place filled with generations of love and memories, is now reduced to ruins due to the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For over 50 years, our home on Monterosa Drive was the heart of our family. My late grandparents, Walter Kirk Sr. and Sarah Lee Silas Kirk, purchased this home and raised my father and uncles within its walls. It was a cherished hub for family gatherings, a symbol of love and unity, and a cornerstone of our family’s history.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After my grandparents passed, my parents moved into the home, where they continued to create and cherish memories. Tragically, on Wednesday, January 8th, the Eaton Fire destroyed the house completely. Like many other Altadena residents, my parents had to evacuate quickly, taking only what little they could carry in their vehicles. <strong>I am profoundly grateful for their safety and continue to pray for all the families who lost loved ones in this disaster.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are heartbroken by the loss of our family home and the memories it held. At this time, we are reaching out for support to help my parents as they begin to rebuild their lives. <strong>Any donations will go directly toward providing essential needs like food, clean water, and temporary housing to support my parents in the foreseeable future.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more to us than words can express. Thank you for helping us during this challenging time.

Help Cajun's Parents After Devastating Eaton Fire Home Loss

<div>Hi, I'm James. I do a podcast called That Story Show where we share your hilarious real-life stories with the audience they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My computer is dying. It's 8 years old and I've done just about everything I can to keep it going but it has started crashing and freezing up every time I try to edit audio or video for the show.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I call him The Podcast Machine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before he dies all the way I need to use the last of his power to help raise funds for his replacement. Kinda sick if you think about it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I know you guys think we podcasters have all the money, the fame, the girls, the raw power of the Internet... but really we're just pretty broke.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I need your help-before it's too late.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks,

<div>What happened to Steph?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In late September, our daughter Stephanie went on a 3-day business trip to Chicago. She experienced a completely unexpected and life-threatening medical crisis while she was there. She spent a month in a hospital and now weeks in an inpatient rehabilitation facility.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As her parents, dealing with all of this has been incredibly challenging.
</div>
<div>Here’s the longer story:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stephanie has had type 1 diabetes since she was a teenager. It’s never held her back! But while Steph was on her trip, she came down with a virus that caused severe vomiting and dehydration. Diabetes is, of course, a very manageable condition, but—very rarely—people who live with diabetes can develop diabetic ketoacidosis, which can be fatal. This is what happened:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just over a month ago, we received a heart-wrenching phone call informing us that our daughter had been rushed to the hospital, unresponsive. The doctors told us that she required immediate intubation to help her breathe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stephanie was in a coma for six agonizing days. There were 3 separate moments when we thought we were going to lose her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Steph was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for two weeks, followed by two more weeks in a step-down unit at the same hospital. Then our daughter was transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for physical, occupational, and speech therapy, all aimed at rebuilding her strength and mobility. She still faces many obstacles, but we are so grateful that she is such a strong woman. She is fighting so hard. Thankfully, her doctors are confident she will make a full recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This unexpected turn of events has not only taken a toll on Stephanie's physical health. It has also brought financial strain. Steph has been unable to work for more than a month. Mounting medical bills have added to the already significant stress of her ordeal. As you might imagine, with such a lengthy and intensive hospital stay, her healthcare bills (even with insurance) will be incredibly significant.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the doctors, nurses, and caregivers provide the necessary care for her physical needs, many of Stephanie's friends, colleagues, and loved ones have asked how they can help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So, we are reaching out to anyone who has been touched by Stephanie's friendship, mentorship, or advice over the years to request your financial support during this challenging time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Steph needs to focus on her recovery. As her friends and family, what we can do is help her financially. By making a small contribution today, you can play a crucial role in ensuring Stephanie's ongoing recovery and alleviating some of the financial strain she currently faces.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We know that Stephanie will receive every contribution, no matter the size, with immense gratitude. We have been simply blown away by the outpouring of love and support that has come flooding in for our daughter from nearly every corner of the globe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Steph has also taught us a lot about the power of the Internet! We kindly ask that you share this campaign within your own networks, spreading the word to others who could also support Steph during her journey back to being the funny, chatty redhead we all know and love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your compassion, generosity, and love.
</div>
<div>With sincerest gratitude,
</div>

Charles liver issues in saving his life Support

<div>Hi, I'm Sheila and the two cute kids in the photo are my grandchildren.  Their mom is my daughter and her husband is Kenny. Kenny is a fantastic dad and loving husband. The kids love him so much. He works hard and plays with them as much as possible. He recently had some shortness of breath and after some tests it was discovered that he needed cardiac bypass surgery. The job he has is a good one, except that he has no benefits for taking time off. If he is not working then he doesn't get paid. Thank goodness he does have medical insurance. He is having surgery, April 14 at Scripps Hospital with a very good cardiac surgeon. He will be in the hospital for at least one week and hopefully have no complications. But the healing process is long and he won't be able to work for about 2-3 months. That's why I'm asking you to help this family get through this very vulnerable time. Julie will be taking care of the kids and Kenny and of course we will help but there will be no funds coming in from work. So anything you donate will go towards helping them survive during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your help and support.
