<div>My grieving niece and adoptive daughter needs support after losing her son Don'Vyaire Avita-Mays' after this heartbreaking loss. Don'Vyaire was born on October 26, 2025, and passed away on October 24, 2026, just two days before his first birthday. He was a handsome little boy whose laugh was infectious, whose smile could light up any room, and who was loved by so many.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His passing was tragic. During a Halloween outing with his mother and two sisters, part of a balloon animal became lodged in his throat. His mother attempted lifesaving measures, CPR was performed, and he could not be saved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She is pregnant and grieving while also trying to make arrangements, and the stress of carrying all of this at once has been overwhelming for her. Please also keep his mother, Kisha Avitia-Wilson, and his sisters, in your prayers during this painful time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations will go toward assisting with any expenses and help my grieving niece and adoptive daughter through this painful time. I ask that you look into your hearts and help her lay her son to rest. If you are able to give, any amount would mean so much. Please also consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach people who may want to support her.

<div><strong>Mission Statement</strong>
</div>
<div>Cat Cowboy is a series about a young cat named Tobi. She's tasked to save her dying town and finds herself on an epic journey of self discovery. This adventure is full of wacky weird wonderful imagination, and grounded real uncomfortable truths that Tobi learns to face.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are a group of young artists on our own journeys and trying to find our footing in this tumultuous world. This exploration can often feel overwhelming, scary, confusing, and sometimes unreal. In a world that we humans don’t fully understand, we are constantly demanded to know oneself, to have a secure, confident identity, when in reality, uncertainty is a crucial driving force of life. Exploring things that scare us, inspire us, confuse us, are what makes the journey so much more fulfilling and enlightening.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We wanted to create something that displayed our love for bizarre, weird, whimsical, childlike wonder, and also the balance between growth, identity, and purpose. Something that reflects a bit of everyone’s journey, through the lens of a hard shelled cat and her trusty steed.
</div>

<div>In a post-human world, a cynical cat named Tobi and her relentlessly optimistic horse friend must venture into the unknown to find the last apple seed and save their starving town.

<div><strong>Series Summary </strong>
</div>
<div>In 110 years…
</div>
<div>After humanity’s extinction, mother nature has reclaimed the planet. The Earth we know is now warped and mutated, scarred by centuries of human conflict and climate collapse.
</div>
<div>In this post-human ecosystem, a small cat-cowboy society has found a way to survive: raising cattle and farming apples. But as their trees start to die off, their way of life begins to unravel.
</div>
<div>Without apples, they can’t feed their cattle.
</div>
<div>Without cattle, they have no milk.
</div>
<div>Without milk, they have no food.
</div>
<div>The town is starving, and amongst them are two unlikely best friends: UH, an Unnamed Horse with endless optimism and heart, and Tobi, a cynical, sharp-tongued cat determined to prove she’s better than everyone. They’re outcast by their town, but they find love, laughter, and belonging in each other.
</div>
<div>When the last cow in their town dies, Tobi and Uh are tasked to venture into the unknown, find the last apple seed, and save cat cowboy town. On their adventure, they encounter a myriad of obstacles and characters, prompting personal growth in ways they never expected.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>What We Need </strong>
</div>
<div>Animation is expensive and artists deserve to be compensated! Our team is raising money for this phase of development in hopes of onboarding a production designer and paying them for their hard work in bringing this show to life.

Cat Cowboy: An Animated Series

<div>My parents James (Jimmy) and Angela Jones, like so many others in the Altadena Community lost their home in the Eaton Fire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They purchased their home in 1985. I have so many memories of growing up in that home. My children also created great memories during summer vacations and Christmas holidays spending time with their grandparents. It's hard to grasp the fact that our family home is gone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My Dad retired a couple of years ago, and my Mom was looking forward to retiring as well.
</div>
<div>To suffer this type of lost at this stage in their life is heartbreaking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donations to help them rebuild their life would be appreciated.

Help the Jones Family Recover After The Eaton Fire

<div>I'm Beth Baird. My family lost our home of 36 years to the Eaton Canyon Fire in Altadena. Our 3 children, Clayton, Kari, and Quinn Davis were born here. Last year my husband, Bill Davis died here. The memories of a blessed family life sustain us.
</div>
<div>We need your help to sustain our day-to-day living while we rebuild our lives, as it is estimated to take 3 to 5 years to rebuild. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you.
</div>

Help Beth Baird's Family Recover After Fire

<div>Overnight, <strong>Serena, Denzel, and Sevyn (4) lost their Altadena home in the Eaton Fire.</strong> All of their belongings are gone, including all of Sevyn's clothes, books, toys, and even her school was burned down. <strong>Please help in any capacity that you are able to so that we can support this beautiful family getting some basic necessities that are not covered by FEMA. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alternatively, we have an Amazon gift list if you'd like to directly send items for Sevyn such as new clothes, books, and comfort items. Those items will be sent to Kat's house in LA and the link to order is here: <a href="https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/GKXJ34ANTP28" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/GKXJ34ANTP28" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/GKXJ34ANTP28</a></a>

Hello Everyone: Please consider giving towards a FREE Leadership Development Program for girls ages 11-14 in Ward 8, Washington, DC.  Research shows that the most vulnerable victims of Human Trafficking are from low income neighborhoods.  The average age a young woman is being trafficked is between 12 to 14.  Many of our youth are being targeted.  Human Trafficking Awareness and Advocacy Group (HTAAG) a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization is excited to partner with P.U.S.H. (People United Silently Healing) to bring an intensive 6-week Girls Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship and STEM Program to the Malcolm X Opportunity Center on July 20th.  HTAAG is committed to reducing the vulnerability associated with Sex Trafficking in young women and girls. This Leadership Program is one of the ways to boost confidence and self-esteem in our youth. Please help!
