<div>My name is Ashley Day, and I'm a 33-year-old first-time mother-to-be. For most of my life, I've lacked the support of my own family, and I want to ensure that my baby doesn't experience the same neglect and abandonment I faced as a child. My parents gave up guardianship when I was only seven, just before I started kindergarten. The trials and tribulations of not being raised by my own parents had a huge impact on my childhood, taking a toll on my mental health after they gave up their parental rights. Over time, I struggled to find the acceptance and love that every child needs in early development. Growing up confused and feeling left behind, I suffered from mental health issues that still follow me today. I was then diagnosed with a severe bleeding disorder following the adoption process and worked closely with a very supportive and successful hemotoligist and cancer specialist and his outstanding medical team out of Las Vegas, Nevada named Dr. Jonathan Bernstein. While struggling to locate a successful treatment option for my specific needs at times i was very unwell until he was able to locate my exact diagnosis and treatment plan. I have found successful medications and treatment options, although it has been a huge struggle physically and financially to do so I have survived and maintained a manageable and sustainable solution.

<div>Despite these challenges, and the dangers my child and i will face especially during the delivery process I am more than thrilled to be expecting and can't wait to challenge myself to be the mother and parent I always longed for as a child. I have the motivation and faith in myself to do that, but I fear that financially I will struggle more than the average parent as a single mother due to my condition. The father has chosen not to participate in our child's life after discovering the adversity we will face, which adds to the stress of supporting my baby without the fundamental support—both financially and emotionally—that every child deserves.

<div>Putting my pride aside with the knowledge that my childs father has chosen to be absent I've been blessed with the ability to reach out to the community for state issued benefits and funding to fulfill housing and dietary needs for myself and my child during my time of need going forward. However due to the circumstances I've found myself in as a result of these medical concerns there are many things that my child will require to ensure a healthy and successful birth and delivery ensuring my survival as well. My medical provider has informed me that I will be enduring a high-risk pregnancy due to this disorder which leaves concerns for severe bleeding and anemia, especially during childbirth. Unfortunately, I will not be able to maintain employment during my pregnancy or for several months following the birth of my child while I recover. But, I am still determined to give my baby the love, care, and stability I missed out on, and I refuse to let my child feel the pain and discomfort I once did. My perseverance and experiences throughout life have prepared me to put in the work and effort it takes to make that happen. However, additional support from a community of people who understand my struggle and have compassion for my needs would truly help me and my baby during these crucial early years. Any support or encouragement you can offer will make a meaningful difference in our lives.

<div>I'm reaching out to the community of strong independent mothers  and parents alike who have successfully taken this journey alone and made the impossible happen for their babies. I'd also like to reach out to the Hemophilia community, whom I've worked closely with supporting them by volunteering for youth summer camps and non profit organizations established to ensure the needs of families who cannot afford the needs of their children who are born with this diagnosis. Requiring a factor for my disorder that isn't covered by government issued benefits but as an out of pocket medical cost that just isn't affordable for a single mother to be. Although I'm sometimes able to utilize expired and donated medications for treatment, The required factor for the ordinary amount of white blood cells in the human body is very expensive and just isn't something I'm able to maintain genetically or financially now that I'm with child. NovoSeven RT (coagulation factor viia) is a member of the miscellaneous coagulation modifiers drug which generally is listed at most pharmacies with The cost for NovoSeven RT intravenous powder for injection (1000 mcg (1 mg)) being around $2,835 for a supply of 100 powder for injection, depending on the pharmacy you visit. Quoted prices are for cash-paying customers and are not valid with insurance plans which often leaves me without the regular doses I'm prescribed by my hemotoligist and often leaves me without proper treatment.
