<div>On September 24, 2022, while riding with Joe Rill, Randy Hiller a/k/a Batman was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was the only one injured. Thankfully, there was a retired paramedic on the scene to revive him. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was airlifted to Loyola Medical.

<div>He suffered multiple spine fractures, a fractured clavicle, broken shoulders, 17 broken ribs, both lungs punctured and bruised, a laceration on his kidney, and a fractured tibia. His spinal surgery was a success.  He will remain at Loyola in ICU until he can breathe independently. Once he reaches his goal, which I have no doubt, he will, he will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility. While he is in ICU, visiting is restricted. It's been a difficult month.  Joe and I visit often. Based on what Joe and I have seen in the last two visits, there is no doubt that he will recover; it will just take time.

<div>In the meantime, Randy's sister needs our help financially. Prior to the accident, Randy signed a lease for a new apartment. His sister honored that lease, and we made sure his belongings were moved to his new apartment. None of us are financially secure to pay his rent and the other bills he has. We need to keep Randy afloat. He can't go through all this to get out and have no home. That is not an option.

<div>I know we are asking for a lot; he is our Randy/Batman and the only one we have. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Every donation made goes directly to his sister, so she has the money at hand to pay what needs to be paid.

On New Years Day, Chris had just dropped his 16 month old son off and was headed home. He was driving on Route 12 at Case Road in Wauconda when a Pathfinder came across four lanes of traffic and Tboned the car Chris was driving. Chris spun a few times and ended up trapped in a ditch when his car finally came to a stop. Most people continued to pass the accident until one guardian angel stopped and kept him alert and calm while help was on the way. Thanks to the first responders who used the jaws of life to get Chris out of the vehicle and get him to the hospital where he spent 3 hours in surgery, Chris will eventually recover. But not without a very long road ahead of him. Chris broke his femur in 5 places and the bone came out of his skin. During surgery they were able to somewhat put the femur back in place with the help of steel rods. Due to the severity of his injury, Chris will be out of work for 6 to 8 weeks and will need extensive physical therapy. Because of the job Chris has he will be out of work without pay. He is a single father, no paycheck, extensive recovery and bills that are beginning to add up. Chris is the one that helps others. He is the one to do a good deed and not want anything in return. He is the one who enjoys going out of his way to make things easier for everyone else but now is our time to help Chris. Christopher Aaron Kessel passed away suddenly on May 9th, 2017.   He will be missed.   His family needs help paying for the services .   Any amount will be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />He loved his girlfriend Angelica Schenold and computer gaming.<br /><br />His services will be at the Bormann Funeral Home in Melrose Park.  Tuesday  May 16th from 3:00 pm to 8:00pm <br /><br /><br />Born Oct 31, 1994 and Passed away May 9th, 2017<br /><br />His daughter Trislynn is 6 months old. <br /><br />Mother Cathy Kessel and Father Richard Japhet<br /><br />Siblings Keith, Alyssa, and Kayleigh

<div>To all who have known Terrie Church, you know she has always worked as hard as she could to stay afloat. Terrie has always been a caring person who thinks of others first, but as some know, she was in a bad accident 12 years ago that shattered her femur and caused other injuries. This led to her leg shrinking by two inches and created the limp many of us recognize her by.

<div> Fast forward to Saturday, October 11, 2025, Terrie had another accident involving an ATV. She was thrown off and, after hitting the ground, went to the ER. Doctors examined her X-rays and discovered that her femur was never installed properly after the first accident and never fully healed. Over the years, this caused her leg to slowly shorten and led to the painful limp she lives with every day. Upon further examination, Terrie was told she needs to have the old titanium rod removed, a new one put in, her femur re-broken, and a full hip replacement. This has left her with mounting medical bills and unable to work. It’s been a month since the accident, and her healing is slow, but as we all know, medical bills don’t stop coming in.

<div> I’m asking if we can all help Terrie get through this so she can have peace of mind knowing that help is on the way. Your support will help her heal properly and be at ease during this difficult time.
