<div>Hi everyone, my name is Amanda Leslie. I’m raising funds to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for my niece, Lakeia Nashay Smith, affectionately known as LeLe to all who loved her. I’ve set up this GoFundMe with the permission of Lakeia’s mother, my sister, Ruth Fesler Butler, and her father, RJ Smith. All proceeds will be used to support the family with funeral expenses and any memorial arrangements that Lakeia may have chosen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As many of you know, LeLe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 30. She is no longer suffering and has found peace in Heaven, reunited with her beloved Grandma Mary and Nana Linda.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>LeLe was a trustworthy, dependable, honest, and loving person. If you needed her, she was always there, with a warm smile and a helping hand. She expressed her love openly and generously, spreading warmth and positivity wherever she went.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Anyone who knew LeLe knows that she would never want attention or a fundraiser for herself. Unfortunately, her family is currently in need of additional support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We would be incredibly grateful if anyone who feels comfortable could contribute any financial donation, no matter how small, to help us arrange LeLe’s funeral and memorial.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for considering donating and for your unwavering support and prayers for Lele and our family during this incredibly difficult time.
</div>

A Beautiful Farewell for Lakeia Nashay Smith

<div><a href="https://www.venusguard.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.venusguard.com</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We stand at a crucial crossroads in the fight against s-xual v-olence, and we want justice for women.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>VenusGuard works as a woman’s last line of defense against r-pe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>According to the World Health Organization, nearly 1 in every 3 women, at least 840 million worldwide, have experienced physical or s-xual v-olence in their lifetime.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These numbers represent real trauma, survivors being denied justice, and a culture where far too many offenders escape real consequences.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our society is facing an epidemic of r-pe culture. In nearly every aspect, the burden continues to fall on survivors. We know it should not be women’s responsibility to defend themselves against violence that occurs with such frequency, yet this is the reality we live in.
</div>
<div>Many of us refuse to simply wait for criminals to stop committing crimes. A product that makes effective self-defense more accessible to women is long overdue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is why we’ve developed VenusGuard, a women’s self defense sleeve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What is VenusGuard? </strong>
</div>
<div>It is a discreet, internal silicone device that is inserted similarly to a tampon or menstrual cup. Designed by medical professionals, VenusGuard was created to help defend against penetrative sexual assault.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/85320607_1781689858141934_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If penetration occurs, the device interrupts the attack, incapacitates the attacker and collects forensic DNA evidence to aid in their prosecution.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No special skills, strength, or training are required to effectively use VenusGuard. With VenusGuard, women can gain greater peace of mind and confidence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The more widely known and accessible this device becomes, the more potential offenders will think twice. Our goal is simple: create a world where attackers hesitate, knowing the risks now include severe pain, certain identification, and a much higher chance of conviction.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are a fiercely dedicated team committed to transparency and putting survivors first. Every decision is made from a trauma-informed perspective. As the first product of its kind, VenusGuard naturally raises questions, and we welcome them. Our priority has always been — and will always be — women’s comfort, safety, and dignity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve already conducted efficacy tests, and our prototype has been approved and endorsed by over 500 women worldwide. The demand is real.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, bringing VenusGuard to market requires significant resources. That’s where we need your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support will fund essential user evaluations, quality approvals, production and test equipment, and high-quality manufacturing so we can meet the demand from women who need this protection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is our call to action.<strong> If you believe women deserve better tools for protection, join us.</strong> Donate if you can. Share this with your network. Start conversations. Every contribution and every share brings us closer to making VenusGuard widely available.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve reached out to companies and government agencies for partnerships, but have been turned away due to outdated stigmas around sexual violence. We refuse to wait for permission. With your support, we will make this a grassroots success.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are relying on our community to help bring this life-changing device to women as quickly as possible. Thank you for your courage, your hope, and your belief in a safer future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With heartfelt gratitude,
</div>

<div>Hi, my name is Angel Scallion. My nephew Cody Shelton lost his life in a tragic accident in Austin, TX on March, 12. Unfortunately, our family was not expecting such a tragedy and could use help to bring Cody home to Fort Worth and to give him a proper burial. If you could find it in your heart to donate, share, and most importantly pray for our family it would be greatly appreciated. Cody had so much life to live and it was cut short due to someone’s negligence. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Thank you for all of your support in our family’s time of need.

Funeral Expenses for Cody Shelton

<div>Hi, my name is Chad and I’m raising funds for the funeral and memorial accommodations for my mother-in-law, Mary Fesler (also “Mom” to me).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As many of you know, Mom was suddenly hospitalized 5 weeks ago due to complications from Leukemia, Pneumonia and other lung infections. While she’s no longer suffering, sadly for us, she passed away recently as God needed another angel.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In this time, it would be greatly appreciated for those that feel comfortable to contribute any financial donation, no matter how big or small, to support our family in arranging Mary’s funeral and memorial arrangements. This would include her cremation (as she requested) and holding a celebration of life in Quincy, IL (to be closer for the majority of family and friends) later this year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’d appreciate any help, spreading the word, thoughts or prayers.

Mary Fesler Funeral & Memorial

Today, our family is grieving the sudden loss of two of our members. Nestor and BJ, brothers, sons, cousins, friends, passed within minutes of each other. The loss of one family member is already heartbreaking, but the loss of two is unfathomable. At this time, we ask for help in offsetting funeral costs for both. If you knew either of them, you also know that they were always willing to help when asked. We are grateful for any amount that you can contribute at this time. Arrangements are being made and we will provide updates as they are available. Thank you again. We find comfort in knowing that we are supported by the well wishes of all those who knew and loved them.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53685672_160966514855829_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="53685672_160966514855829_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53685672_1609665054960768_r.jpeg" alt="53685672_1609665054960768_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />

Rest in Peace, Brothers

On July 29th, 2017 Darrell's life was tragically cut short in a drowning accident while vacationing in Arizona. <br /><br />Darrell touched many lives and was an incredible blessing to his family and friends. He was full of so much love, life and happiness. <br /><br />When our loved ones are called home too soon, the family is suddenly overwhelmed with planning and final expenses. <br /><br />On behalf of my aunt and his immediate family, we are asking for donations of love in any amount to assist in bringing Darrell home to California and giving him the burial that he so well deserves.  Anything is welcome and greatly appreciated. <br /><br />Although this is a tremendous loss for those who knew and loved him, Darrell was a man who had very strong faith in the Lord. Please be comforted in knowing that he is now in Heaven shining his love and light upon us. God bless you all.

In Memory of Darrell K. Rodgers

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we all mourn the loss of such a sweet and powerful soul. He was many things to many people, however to anyone who had the opportunity to meet and get to know him, he was family. <br /><br />He was a man of faith and love and in the spirit of that faith it comes to mind that we are all meant to live this life together as one and when we do so, we are called to be there for each other in times of both joy, and of sadness. <br /><br />"we should rejoice with those who rejoice; as we should mourn with those who mourn" <br />-Romans 12:15<br /><br />To know Jeff Benjamin was to know a Gentle Giant. He was a big man with a huge heart. Anyone that knows him knows how much he loved and valued his family. <br /><br />It is in the spirit of this that we ask those who are moved to compassionatley give, to do so to his family. This tragedy is one that no parent should ever have to experince, let alone adding to it, the financial burdens that go along with the loss of a loved one. <br /><br />Let us all come together as one to help his family in this time of great loss by allowing them to focus on mourning and healing from this great tragedy.<br /><br />(Donations will be accepted by Vanessa Garcia, Jeff's younger sister.)

In Memory of Jeff Benjamin

Hello, beautiful friends! I am ready and eager to record a five song EP of original music. It's been a few years since I've recorded any originals, and these ideas have been a long time coming. The brilliant and talented Bobbo Byrnes, (of The Fallen Stars) owner of Wandering Star Studios in Costa Mesa, is recording the songs in his studio and sharing his vast expertise, as well as accompanying me on guitar. The song writing process is well under way, and the recording process has just begun. A few of these songs were written recently, and a couple of them were written a few years ago. This is some of the most personal work I've written or released to date. Vulnerability and transparency are the watchwords of the day, and in this excavation process, jewels are being unearthed, not to mention a lot of dirt! I'm getting my hands dirty and am very excited to share the fruits of this labor of love with you. A donation of $5 or more will put a CD in your hot little hand! If you donate more than that and would like more than one CD, please note how many CDs you would like in the comment section. Heartfelt thanks to those who are able to donate, and to everyone reading this and shedding your loving intentions on this project. Please know that I'm returning the love to you a hundredfold! <br />So much love, <br />From my heart to yours,<br /> Stacy

To:  Family, friends, co-workers, and all others who were touched by David Jason Jacobo.<br /><br /> This past Sunday, March 6, 2016 my brother-in-law, David Jason Jacobo, age 36, passed away unexpectedly from a ruptured brain aneurysm.<br /><br /> We believe that his last moments were in the arms of his parents, sister, and myself as we waited for paramedics to arrive. We did everything we could and hoped this was a bad dream; however, God had a different plan for David Jason. <br /><br /> He is survived by 4 children, ages 10, 8, 6, &amp; 3.<br /><br /> As we grieve the loss of such a loved man, we have been asked to set up an outlet for support to assist his children in this transition of life without their Father. Also, to assist with any medical costs and services arrangements. Any support will be greatly appreciated. <br /><br /> God Bless

David Jason Jacobo's Memorial Fund

This fund has been set up for a sweet family that experienced a horrible tragedy on February 26, 2016.  My cousin Rory Nason was driving home with his family when they came across another car that had hit a utility pole.  The vehicle was also on fire.  Rory got out of his car to try and help anyone that might be in the burning car.  When he opened the door, he was electrocuted and died.  This is  unimaginable and heart breaking.  He leaves behind his fiance Ashley Pingree and three children. The funds will be to help with any needs for his family during this time.  Please consider helping this family.  Any amount is appreciated and they could definitely use your prayers.
