Thank you for visiting. I'm still waiting on further surgery's. I'm not worried about the next few, easy ones! Me and doctor didn't know how long I had a tumor in left of the brain 🧠, I think about 20 years Dr's years ago said migraines?? Not it!

Hello, my name is Anthony L. Banashefsky and I am 67 years old. On January 11, 2025, I underwent a major emergency brain surgery to remove a grapefruit sized tumor from the left side of my brain at St.Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, Co. Luckily, it was not cancerous, but has still come with many obstacles for me to overcome- emotionally, physically, and financially. Though surgery was very successful, I still have to go through physical therapies and routine doctor visits which is very much time and money consuming. Unfortunately with my brain recovery, recent prostate surgery, and needing additional surgeries for movement in my shoulders/rotator cuffs, I am unable to work and needed to do an early retirement, which has not been the easiest to navigate financially. Medical bills are constantly piling up and at times I feel my head is barely above water trying to catch up on everything and use what little Social Security I have monthly to cover all of those cost plus living expenses. Through Medicaid, it did cover a large portion of my surgery cost & doctors visits , but it still has put me thousands upon thousands of dollars in debt that I’m trying to recover from. All of these things have created a very unexpected financial burden in my life, causing me to be unsure what my future housing/living situation will be eventually. This of course, adds a great deal of stress and strain to my daily life. Prior to surgery, I was saving up and working towards getting a small portion of land to build my own tiny home on. Sadly, with everything that’s happened and needing to use savings to cover the cost of my ongoing health issues this is more so now a dream rather than a reality I can obtain. i’m not sure how many years I have left on earth, but I’m trying to do my best to make it worthwhile and support myself without being a burden on the very little family I have. I have set a goal for $15,000 in hopes I can pay off my current medical bills and start back on my goal for better housing. Thank you for your time and reading my story. Even if you can’t donate, please share my story! God Bless!
