Due to this unexpected diagnosis, an immediate need in obligations for the family has come to light. We are humbly asking for all who can gather financial support for the family at this time. Army Veteran, Candice Adams, has been diagnosed with stage 1 brain cancer (called Astrocytomas) after an emergency biopsy was performed on her parietal lobe. Candice was diagnosed this April and was required to do radiation therapy immediately, with the possibility of undergoing a full brain surgery within the next 12 weeks to remove the cancerous cyst. But Candice has been suffering with the symptoms for over 4 years, and had not gotten proper care with the VA. She has major migraines and headaches, which requires for her to get 52 needle shots into her skull every 8 weeks to manage them. Along with that, Candice has bad vertigo, dizziness, blackouts and seizures that is caused by the cyst on her brain that is growing over time. The Cancer Society of Atlanta provides all the medical care, vitamins, nutrition, radiation therapy, and needs that Candice requires to beat this cancer. This Go Fund Me has been established to help with the medical cost for Candice's series of treatments and care by the Cancer Society, since, they do not accept the VA insurance that Candice has, despite that she served her country with the United States military. We know that Candice's friends and family will want to help as she has inspired so many in her lifetime, helping various people through their real estate careers and guided individuals with building their own businesses. She is also a United States Army Veteran, and has served her country for over 7 years. Candice also has a 9-year-old daughter (Jayda), who really needs her mother to get well soon. As we all know the bills for cancer and its treatments are astronomical. Candice is asking for help and support during these hard times. This is for my dad, Krysztof Wszedybyl (Kris) who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2015. We were lucky to find it early and the doctors were able to perform emergency brain surgery and have taken the mass from his brain; however, due to the aggressiveness of the cancer, it will come back. We are still in the early stages of information regarding his prognosis, but as of now, things are not the best. There are some bills and treatments that are not covered and expenses that are piling up. Future treatment will most likely include out-of-state medical centers. I am writing this to help my parents stay positive and help ease some of their burden. I am his eldest son and I have a younger brother . Colleen Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello! My name is Christina (or Krysia - depends on what's easier!) and I am a 24-year old female with a rare auto-immune disease called Wegener's Vasculitis. I was diagnosed when I was 15 and I have never been able to discontinue my medication. Vasculitis is, in simplest terms, inflammation of blood vessels. While there is no known cause, the white blood cells attack blood vessels, which in turn causes damage to organs. In my case, the lungs and kidneys are affected. I also experience constant joint inflammation when I am having a disease flare (which means sometimes I can't walk or move around as freely). Having this condition means that I have complex bloodwork done every other week, routine appointments with various specialists, expensive tests, and now since I've had consistent flares of the disease - special IV treatments of a type of B-cell-killing drug called Rituxan. As of right now, this treament will be ongoing for the next two years, every six months for four weeks each. This is subject to change depending on how the disease reacts to the treatments. My next treatment is in September 2015.  Having graduated my undergraduate program not too long ago and now in graduate school while paying off some of those student loans, I do not have the ability to pay for this entirely on my own. I am currently in a master's program in public health studying Epidemiology and would like to continue being healthy so that I can finally just focus on school and not on disease maintenance.  Just so you know a little more about me before donating to my cause, here are some personal facts: - One of my life goals is to conduct research regarding autoimmune diseases and their causes or risk factors since this group of diseases has been on the rise in recent years. My Master's thesis will likely be related to this topic as I work part-time for a research group that studies this.  - I am bilingual, speaking English and Polish fluently. This is because both of my parents emigrated here from Poland. - I do not own a car. I try to ride my bike everywhere and bus whenever or wherever possible. - Because of the biking, I would love to participate in a bike tour someday - where you ride your bike with a tour group in a country rather than traveling via car/train/bike Really, any donation would be greatly appreciated.
