<p>Hello, my name is Daniel. I’m a 58 year old U.S. Navy Veteran and have spent most of my adult life working in the electronic manufacturing industry. Like a lot of people my age, I expected that steady work would lead to a modest retirement.
</p><br />
<p>Major shifts in my industry over the years—driven by trade policies and broader economic changes—steadily eroded the career path I had built. Opportunities narrowed, wages didn’t keep up, and I ended up carrying debt while trying to stay afloat. I’m now about nine years from traditional retirement age, but my current job barely covers living expenses and doesn’t make a real dent in what I owe. At this pace, I’ll still be paying off debt long after I’m past retirement age.
</p><br />
<p>I’m currently about $40,000 in debt. On top of that, I’m looking at getting hiatal hernia surgery to have some peace from digestive issues I have dealt with for about 7 years. The exact out-of-pocket cost depends on insurance and the procedure details, but these surgeries commonly run several thousand dollars (or more) after deductibles and co-pays, plus recovery time that could affect work.
</p><br />
<p>Living in Denver has also become unsustainable for me personally—I want to stay in Colorado but relocate to a quieter, lower-cost area preferably in the southwest part of the state where I can live more simply. Lacking the current ability for retirement, this would also necessitate a change in employment.
</p><br />
<p>My goal is straightforward: clear the debt, cover the medical bill for the surgery, handle moving costs, and create enough of a bridge so I can stop full-time work and retire now rather than years from now. I’m not looking for luxury—just the chance to stop the cycle of barely getting by and live modestly in a place that feels right.
</p><br />
<p>It's a lofty goal, I know, since the last time I did the calculations for what I'd need to retire is about $1,500,000 by today's economic outlook. I'm not expecting that, I'm only hoping for enough to get myself out of the current rut and heading back in the right direction!
</p><br />
<p>Hopefully I can rebuild a retirement income after decades in an industry that never allowed me to do so.
</p><br />
<p>How the funds will be used:
</p><br />
<p>- Pay off approximately $40,000 in existing debt
</p>
<p>- Cover potential out-of-pocket costs for hiatal hernia surgery and short-term recovery
</p>
<p>- Moving and relocation expenses (deposits, transportation, initial setup)
</p>
<p>- A modest living-expense bridge while I transition out of full-time work and settle into a more stable financial situation.
</p><br />
<p>Any amount helps, and sharing this page is just as valuable as a donation. I’ll post updates as things progress. Thank you for taking the time to read this—your support would mean a great deal.
</p>

<div>My name is Christine Mathiesen and I started this for a doctor like no other. Dr. Mark Ibsen from Helena, Montana, who treats his patients with respect, dignity and empathy. He needs help with legal fees to fight corrupt and an unjust system. He has legal fees of 600$ an hour and this will go straight to the lawyer. Please share his story.

<div>We have to show PROP we not only exist but will fight for quality of life. Have you ever had intractable pain in your life thus far, imagine it never going away. 51.6 million people live with intractable pain. They did not ask for this pain, and didn't request it, or buy it. Most all other physicians have abandoned these patients. Not Dr. Mark Ibsen. 51.6 million patients live with in intractable pain resulting in substantial health care costs, lost productivity and the worst, suicide. There is a difference between living and existing. Be apart of the solution dont just run your mouth, we will fight for a QUALITY OF LIFE.

Stand with Dr. Mark Ibsen in Need

I’m Amanda, and I’m starting this fundraiser for myself and my household because we are facing an urgent housing need. Right now, I do not have a job, even though I have been going to multiple interviews and doing everything I can to find work. So far, I have not been hired, and with rent due on October 21st, I am running out of time. This has been an incredibly stressful and humbling position to be in, because I am trying hard to move forward while also worrying about how we will keep a roof over our heads.
<br>
<br>
 The funds from this fundraiser would help cover our rent right away since I do not currently have job income to pay it in time. My biggest hope is simply that we do not lose our place to live and that we can keep our home while I continue searching for work. If you are able to help, any support would mean so much to us during this difficult moment. Even sharing this fundraiser would make a real difference and help us get through this urgent time. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us hold on to our home.

Help Amanda Keep a Roof Overhead

<div><strong>Hi! It’s your friend Gary. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thanks for visiting my GoFundMe page!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re here, you have some idea of what’s going on with my health journey since being diagnosed with Colon and Liver Cancer in June 2024.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s been quite a ride!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A couple months after diagnosis, I went “Code Blue” when they put in my chemo port. They said they almost lost me! But I guess God still had some plans for me - cause here I am, still breathing and still praising Him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was on chemotherapy for a full year, and also had surgery to remove 6” of my colon. That year was full of chemo treatments (and their side effects), scans, surgeries and other procedures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The good news is that <strong>my colon appears to be cancer free</strong>!!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I am getting radiation ☢️ for the cancer spots on my liver. Not out of the woods yet, but man - I sure feel <strong>blessed</strong> to have only ONE organ with cancer!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I do continue to have intermittent pain in my abdomen and back, but have medication to help me get through it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The biggest hurdle for me right now is <strong>fatigue - both physical and mental</strong> (chemo brain). I’m operating at about 50% of my normal energy level, which makes it <strong>really challenging</strong> to work or concentrate. I am told this will probably last for another year.
</div>
<div>I tire quickly from normal tasks - even photography wears me out a lot faster than before. And sometimes I struggle just to complete a sentence or organize my thoughts. (Which is why I asked my friends Laura and Sami to help me set up this page!)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The other major hurdle is that my car is just… wearing… out.
</div>
<div>While my photography jobs have been running thin lately and my friend’s carpet cleaning business (where I did some part-time work) has shut down, I have still been able to make a little money by driving for Amish people.
</div>
<div><strong>But…</strong> my car really needs some expensive repairs. It is over 15 years old and at nearly 300,000 miles.
</div>
<div>Before the cancer, I also drove for Uber. I would love to do so again - and it’s something I <strong>can</strong> do at my current energy levels - but my car is no longer eligible because of its age.
</div>
<div>So I probably need to sell her and find an affordable used car.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now it’s been a little over 2 years since I’ve been able to work at 100%. I am thankful to collect some Disability, but that doesn’t cover my living expenses like rent, groceries, or the over-the-counter meds and supplements recommended by my cancer care team.
</div>
<div>So your donations will help me to cover living expenses and upgrade my car.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>You have all been so generous, helpful, and gracious - and I can’t thank you enough for your love and support during this chapter of my life.</strong> You have helped me so much with financial needs, and your friendship and prayers have been just amazing. My cup overfloweth.
</div>

I will do my best to keep the updates coming!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thanks again for being the best support system a guy could ask for.</strong>

Support Gary on his Journey with Cancer

<div>
 Our family is asking for help for someone who should be worrying about school, friends, video games, and what he wants to do when he grows up—not fighting cancer.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Kenric is 14 years old, and he has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of adolescent cancer. His world, and the world of his family, has changed in an instant.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Kenric lives in Camp Verde with his mom, Jodie, and dad, Steve. Jodie is a Head Start teacher who spends her days working with and caring for low-income children and families. Steve is a 100% disabled U.S. Navy veteran. They are hardworking parents who have always done their best to take care of their family and help others along the way. Now, they are facing something no parent should ever have to face.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Kenric has a long road ahead of him.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For at least the next seven months, Kenric will need to make the trip from Camp Verde to Phoenix Children's Hospital every two weeks for chemotherapy. These aren't quick appointments. They mean hours on the road, time away from work, fuel, meals, parking, medical expenses, and all of the unexpected costs that come with a serious illness.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And chemotherapy is only part of what lies ahead.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The hope is that the chemotherapy will shrink the mass enough for doctors to perform surgery. Depending on how things progress, Kenric will likely need additional rounds of chemotherapy after surgery as well.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For a 14-year-old, this is an enormous amount to face.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For his parents, it means trying to be there for their son every step of the way while also trying to keep up with everyday expenses and manage the costs that come with traveling back and forth to Phoenix every two weeks for months on end.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are asking for help because we don't want money to be one more thing this family has to worry about right now.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every donation will go toward helping Kenric and his family with the costs associated with his treatment and care—travel to and from Phoenix Children's Hospital, gas, food, parking, medical and household expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with having a child undergoing cancer treatment.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you know Kenric, you know he is so much more than his diagnosis. He is a kid with a whole life ahead of him. He deserves the chance to get through this, ring that final treatment bell, and get back to being a 14-year-old.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are able to donate, anything helps. $20, $50, $100—or whatever you can spare—will make a difference. Those small donations add up and can help take some of the financial pressure off Kenric's parents so they can focus on what matters most: being Mom and Dad and helping their son get through this.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you aren't able to donate, please don't feel bad. Sharing this fundraiser, keeping Kenric in your thoughts and prayers, and helping us spread the word is just as appreciated.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Paying It Forward
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our family also wants to be transparent about what happens if we are fortunate enough to raise more than is needed for Kenric's treatment and related expenses. Any funds that are not needed for Kenric's care will be donated to another family facing a serious medical or financial hardship.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We know there are so many families going through their own unimaginable circumstances, and if Kenric's journey allows us to help another family when they need it most, we want to do that.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Cancer has already asked enough of this family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Let's come together and help make sure that getting Kenric the treatment he needs isn't another thing they have to fight for.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for loving Kenric, supporting his family, sharing his story, and helping us fight alongside him. ❤️

Standing with Kenric Through Cancer Treatment

<div><strong>Updated 4/7/2026</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As many of you know, our dear friend Barb Cook was the victim of a horrific assault that occurred outside her home in Delta Township on Friday, February 13, around 5:30 pm. When she heard someone in trouble, she ran outside to help, without any thought or regard for her own safety. A tragic scene was unfolding across the street and she ran directly into the danger, saving two lives and taking the gunman’s attention away from the family he was shooting at; a young family out on a walk whom Barb had never met and had no connection to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Although Barb was able to stop the assailant from reloading his gun; sadly, he turned his wrath on her and attacked her with his gun. Barb endured severe trauma to her head and face, including bleeding in her brain. Emergency brain surgery was life-saving, but she lost consciousness on the scene and has remained unconscious. Recently, Barb has started to make noticeable improvement in her journey to regaining consciousness. Since the beginning of April, she has begun responding to some questions with “yeah”, and is able to say some words that the family can make out. She has been moving her hands and fingers a lot more, happily grabbing and holding tightly to her loved ones’ hands. She opens her eyes and engages with loved ones daily. Her family is overjoyed with this progress; though they fully understand that this will be an incredibly long recovery process. That being said, we have so much hope for a full recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Barb's bravery and selflessness exemplify the very best of humankind. Her warmth, kindness, and enduring spirit have touched countless lives in our community. Barb’s family anticipates that her recovery period will last much longer than insurance will cover. The money donated will be put directly to best rehabilitative care for Barb so that she has the highest chance for full recovery. Any funds not used directly for medical care will be used to outfit her home to be more handicap accessible when she eventually returns there. Any remaining funds will be donated directly to the other family impacted by this tragedy. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.

Support Barb's Brave Fight for Recovery

<div>On behalf of the Liverpool family, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of our beloved son Akin "King" Liverpool. At just 23 years old, Akin was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind a family and community that loved him deeply.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fundraiser was created by Randy Meran on behalf of the Liverpool family. Randy is a close family friend and is organizing this fundraiser to help support Akin's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Akin was more than a son, brother, and friend—he was a leader within his family. As the oldest of five children, he naturally stepped into the role of protector, mentor, and provider. He worked tirelessly to help support his loved ones and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Whether it was family, friends, or members of the community, Akin was known for showing up when people needed him most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Most importantly, he leaves behind a devoted single mother who is now faced with the heartbreaking reality of laying her son to rest while continuing to care for her family during this difficult time. Akin's siblings have not only lost their oldest brother, but also someone they looked up to for guidance, support, and strength.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and support a family that is experiencing a loss no family should ever have to endure. We are raising funds to assist with funeral and memorial expenses, alleviate immediate financial burdens, and provide support to Akin's mother and siblings as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All donations received through this fundraiser will be collected by Randy and transferred directly to Akin's mother, Roshell Williams, who will use the funds for funeral and memorial expenses, as well as other immediate needs for the family during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, prayer, share, and word of encouragement means more than you know. If Akin ever touched your life, made you laugh, supported you, or simply crossed your path, we ask that you honor his memory by helping support the family he loved so much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with the Liverpool family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity and support will help ensure that Akin's legacy of love, service, and dedication to family continues to live on.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rest in Peace, Akin "King" Liverpool. You will never be forgotten.
</div>

In Memory of Akin 'King' Liverpool

<div>Hi, my name is Edward and I am attempting to raise money for my friend Evelyn. <strong>Evelyn lost her 32-year-old son, Neil, 6 weeks ago.</strong> He passed away at home and the reason is unclear. Evelyn is unable to find any closure with her son’s untimely death and is trying to get an autopsy performed so that the truth of Neil’s death can become known. <strong>Currently, Neil’s body is being stored at the cost of $95 a day.</strong> Evelyn and her surviving children are in financial hardship and can’t afford the cost of the autopsy or the storage fees. Please consider helping the Rego family find peace and closure by making a donation of any size to help cover the cost of putting this young man to rest. Thank you and God bless.

Help Evelyn Find Closure for Neil's Passing

<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Giorgi's Game Spot in Elmhurst, IL is a small female family owned little game store with the cute goat mascot that everyone has grown to love. This store has been a staple in this community for years providing board games, card games, role play games, toys, and other items with no video games or electronic devices. Our mission has always been to provide positive gaming experiences to all genders, sexual orientations, and identities as we used to be discriminated against as women. Selling games is not the only thing we find important as we try to make our players and guests feel like they belong to a community or family. We very recently shed the toxic brand and business partners to make a go at our dreams of being sole owners of this shop. Under our previous brand, we had many rules that we had to follow on how this was supposed to be run, and one of these rules was not having a play space. Our goal is to reimplement this very important factor in creating a successful community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have a large community of children and adults who want to learn and continue to play Pokémon, board games, Dungeons and Dragons, and be allowed to grow with their peers or join a gaming group. We also have a large family base of customers that want a place where they can learn games without the pressure of having to read and interpret the rules. Our space will also be a place where game makers can come and meet the players, have a place to playtest their games and grow the business as well. Play space is incredibly important for a store like ours to succeed. Our people want to have a space to feel safe, relaxed, and to be able truly enjoy the games they're trying to play without worrying about being in the way of customers or getting interrupted by curious patrons. Unfortunately, our store is too small and real estate is high priced at this location to have in store gaming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Fortunately, we did find the perfect space. Unfortunately, the perfect space caused an 8 month delay by the city to get our licenses and inspections to open up for business as we had to continue to pay rent and bills. As we continue to grow this entity, it does not have inventory and is not a self sufficient store, but relies more on the players and community to come and enjoy gaming. Building this back up does take time, but costs do not wait, and we still need to keep the store stocked and running.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are looking to our community and surrounding areas, anyone that is a game lover or someone just believes in our cause to enable us to continue providing experiences for people who need a place to go. We want to continue to host events, teach people how to play games, allow kids of all ages something to do other than sit in front of a screen and become social again. We have suffered a large hit from Covid, tariffs, and other difficult economic times and just trying to make it through the punches so we can continue to serve the community for years to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please contribute if you are able and share this often to spread the word. Every bit helps us continue to grow both spaces. We have also provided some photos of the play space taken by one of our players.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much to anyone who is able to donate anything to our cause! Sharing is the easiest way to help!
</div>

Help us continue to provide a play space for our community!

<div>I am Jeff Metcalf. My son, <strong>Austin Metcalf, was tragically stabbed today at a school track meet</strong>. They were not able to save him. He was a bright young man with a great future ahead of him. He was a leader of men. His smile would light up the room. His passion for football was unbelievable. Voted team MVP this past season and carried a 4.0 GPA. He was looking forward to taking his game to the next level. His commitment, dedication, leadership, and sheer grit made him rise to the level of success that he desired. His twin brother, Hunter, played beside him. We will all remember him for the way he impacted others' lives. I love you forever, son. It's not goodbye, it's see you later. God will take care of us till we meet again. RIP. Love, Dad

Honoring Austin Metcalf: Help His Family Heal

<div>I am the aunt of the twins Qaadir and Naazir Lewis who were found deceased on top of Bell Mountain in Georgia. In recents new reports, it was claimed that they took their own lives. My nephews wouldn’t do this! They came from a family of love, and twins wanted so much for their future, they had dreams of starting their very own clothing line. Unfortunately Something happened at Bell mountain that ended the lives of 19 year old Qaadir and Naazir, which needs to be further investigated. We need your support to share their story. The family is looking for a private investigator to help bring justice to Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, we did hire a private investigator but unfortunately the case was way to complex and they are not a fit for the case. Now we are seeking help to hire a well notable investigator with a reputation specializing in homicide and criminal cases as well as other legal assistants. We will not stop fighting until the twins get justice. Anything you donate will be appreciated ♥️
</div>

Qaadir & Naazir Tragic Loss: Family Needs Your Help

<div>Most of you locally know Jeff and Kristina. Well our wonderful Jeff is finally going to ditch the cane! How you ask? With a hip replacement surgery coming up this Monday the 19th of June!!! This is going to put him down and out for a couple of months. He’s going to need time to heal. As most you know he’s self employed. This means bills and cost of living are going to add up quickly for this family. We also need to get a bed in the downstairs set up as stairs won’t be an option durning recovery. Also things like bars on the wall in the bathroom, shower chair etc...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So I’m starting this go fund me to help them get through these hard times but also because if you know Jeff, you know he won’t take the proper time to heal if he feels he needs to get back to work to support his family. I don’t want him going through all of this, just to mess it up because he returned to work too fast. He doesn’t deserve to live in the pain he’s been living in.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you didn’t know, back in 2020 he was in a car accident and has been dealing with this long and painful, expensive experience since then!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any donation you can make would be greatly appreciated! If you can’t donate, please help by sending your prayers and sharing this along!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>please contact Jeff or Kristina directly for other ways to donate or help!
</div>

Jeff’s Healing

<div>Hi Everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As some of you know, I’ve been struggling with chronic illness for over 22 months. It's been a very difficult time, and has also become a financial burden on my parents, who I moved back in with in 2017 to help my dad beat stage 4 lung cancer. Thankfully, he is in 100% remission and is doing well. For the past several years I’ve been renting the basement and have been able to help my parents with bills, but since I’m too sick to work, my savings have been depleted. When I caught Covid in late October 2020 (before vaccines were available), I had no idea I would end up with Long Covid and then also be diagnosed with POTS, CFS, IBS, and PTSD.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Along the way, I’ve had to go to several hospitals and have seen countless doctors. There was even a time when my phosphorus levels were so low that I could have died. Although there are some symptoms I no longer have (such as full body tremors, and a total loss of appetite), what I’m still dealing with is extreme fatigue (I often need to rest in bed), tachycardia (simply walking up the steps or taking a shower raises my heart rate as high as 150bpm), shortness of breath (from walking or talking too much) brain fog (trouble focusing and forgetting things), lightheadedness, muscle weakness/stiffness/achiness, frequent bowel moments, stomach pain, trouble sleeping, anxiety, depression, chest pain, and post-exertional symptom exacerbation (exercising or doing too much makes my symptoms worse). On a positive note, I still have my voice, and every now and then I have the energy to sing. Prior to all of this, I exercised 5 days a week and was in the best shape of my life. To not be able to workout anymore has taken a toll on my mental health.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of all that, it was recently discovered that I have an anomalous right coronary artery (it’s on the wrong side) with a malignant course, and ischemia (something is interfering with the blood flow to my heart). The anomalous coronary artery is something I was born with that may have been exacerbated by Covid. I may need surgery for this, and am in the process of meeting with doctors to help me decide if it’s worth the risk.
</div>

</div>
<div>I was hoping I’d be all better by now, and that raising money would not be needed, but I feel overwhelmed and have reached the point where I have no choice. My parents have gone above and beyond to help me and I want to reduce their stress. Much of what I’m raising will go toward groceries and medicine, which adds up to about $2,000 a month. Less financial stress will also enable me to focus more on healing. Please share this fundraiser with others, and if you can donate even a small amount, it would mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this.

Help Yaron fight Long Covid

Hi All,
<div>As most are well aware I got hit with some crazy flesh eating bacteria,  which I have no idea how it happened...  As soon as we got back to Puerto  Galera I layed down (thinking I was just tired.... I woke up extremely dizzy and had bad diarrhea... I thought I'd caught a bug, having no idea that the likely cause was this small sore area....
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My wife asked me to go to the doctor Friday, but I was too weak and dizzy.... On Saturday mooring we went to the doctor to check this wound (which was now open) and I passed out while checking in.... <span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">Within a couple of days my wound on my leg had gone from a small purple area. to an open purple wound and  had started spreading almost all the way to my knee on my inner right thigh </span><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">beneath the skin</span><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">.</span>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The doctor sent me via ambulance to the local hospital last Saturday for IV antibiotics. which stopped the spread... The wound needs debreeding,  so we transferred to a REAL hospital an hour away via ambulance last night..... They IMMEDIATELY went to work and I should be fine once treated...  Due to the nature of the bacteria, deep debreeding is required to m make sure it doesn't come back....
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We're kindly asking for help at this time to assist in covering the hospital expenses... THAT YOU ALREADY for your prayers... ONLY do as God compels you.... It's ultimately HE WHO PROVIDES and will make a way where there seems to be no way....
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>MUCH LOVE and GRATITUDE in advance!!
</div>
<div>GOD BLESS YOU GUYS!!!

HOSPITAL EXPENSE HELP NEEDED

<p>We have launched this fundraiser to support our dear friend Varushka Franceschi, who lost both her beautiful cottage and two out of four of her beloved cats in a devastating electrical fire. She has been displaced from her home, which has been destroyed and must be rebuilt, and has lost two of her precious pets who were were family to her.<br /><br />Varushka also suffers from chronic Lyme disease, which has attacked her joints. She suffers from chronic pain, making it challenging to even walk and function with daily life activities. Her cat family provided great emotional support, solace, and healing for her and because of the fire, they have now been ripped away from her.<br /><br />Varushka's surviving cats are Rocky and Vivienne. They are currently in intensive care recovering from smoke inhalation at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. The staff there has been amazing and have truly been angels caring for the cats. However, there is an outstanding $3500 medical debt from their first night at the local emergency animal hospital. <br /><br />For Varushka to lose her home, as well as two of her beloved cats and best friends from her healing cat family all at once is devastating for her and has been more than she can manage alone, while simultaneously struggling with such a serious disease as chronic Lyme. While she is not one to ask for help, at this time in her life more than ever Varushka needs support and caring from her community as she tries to recover, heal her body and heart, and slowly build back her life. She has quite a road ahead of her. <br /><br /><strong>ABOUT VARUSHKA:</strong> Eight years ago, Varushka moved to Sullivan County, NY when she became a vocal anti-fracking activist. She bought her cottage there specifically to fight fracking, which was destroying communities in that region. As part of the anti-fracking community, she adopted her anti-fracking kitties from Josh Fox, the director of "Gasland", who is also part of the local anti-fracking movement. Prior to becoming ill with Lyme disease, Varushka was working on her film <a href="http://www.crackineverything.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">A Crack In Everything</a>  (<a href="http://www.crackineverything.com" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://www.crackineverything.com</a>) but had to put her film on hold due to her her illness.<br /><br /><strong>WHAT YOU WILL BE FUNDING:</strong> All funds raised will go directly to help Varushka for the foreseeable future with housing and costs of living expenses, veterinarian bills for the two surviving cats who are still in the animal hospital, and the expensive Lyme disease medical treatments that she very much needs, but health insurance won't cover.<br /><br /><strong>NON-MONETARY SUPPORT:</strong> Varushka also has the overwhelming task of completely rebuilding her home. So, In addition to monetary donations,  referrals for construction labor, general contracting, lumber, etc., especially if they will reduce their fees, this would be greatly appreciated. And if anyone is compelled to gift Varushka with alternative health care donations, she would also gladly accept gifts of healing to help her with trauma, Lyme disease, including gifts of bodywork, energy work, therapies, and other healing modalities. <br /><br />Please reach out to us:  [email redacted] with referrals, alternative gifts, or other ideas for support. Thank you!!<br /><br /><strong>OTHER WAYS TO DONATE:</strong> <br /><strong>   Venmo</strong> @Aid4Varushka <br /><strong>   PayPal</strong> @aid4varushka<br /><br />With great gratitude for even the smallest donations of any kind, <br /><br />Kristi &amp; Sandy

Relief for Varushka: House Fire & Medical Fund

My name is Dora, in November 2017 my partner Jose Luis was diagnosed with testicular cancer, he had surgery at that time to remove the tumor, and the surgery was considered to be successful. Two years later the cancer returned and Jose Luis completed Chemotherapy to treat it. All labs and follow up care indicated that the cancer had been eradicated.  <br /><br />In early May, Luis began to experience back pain once again. During this time COVID 19 was causing drastic measures to be taken at the clinic and I wasn't able to get him an appointment to be seen in office. After pleading with a nurse and them agreeing to make an "exception", the doctor examined him. A week later he was scheduled for a PET scan. Until then, he was prescribed Oxycodone and Oxycodine. At first the meds helped with the pain, but as the week progressed, so did his pain. It became unbearable. <br /><br />The day he was scheduled for the PET scan, I drove him to the hospital and while he was checking in, he collapsed. He was taken to the ER and since they couldn't ease the pain, he was admitted. I was not allowed to visit and didn't talk to him for 2 days. He was heavily medicated and was having trouble breathing. He was put on a ventilator. They found that his platelet and red blood cell counts were significantly low. He received multiple transfusions. Soon they found fluid around his heart and was transported to St. Joseph's hospital. There, he was fully sedated and I was only able to speak with him briefly. He said "They are going to take care of me". I told him I loved him and that Dmitry did too. I was at work, so he didn't get to speak with our son.<br /><br />Luis remained in the ICU for another week without improvement. A biopsy was done from his hip bone marrow and the preliminary results indicated that the cancer had metastasized to his bones. HLH with no hope for survival. His sister and I made the most heartbreaking decision. On Friday, he was taken off the ventilator and for the first time in two long lonely weeks I was finally "allowed" to see my love. To hold his hand and let him go. He was surrounded by people who loved and cared for him. It was peaceful and so hard. Unreal. Too soon.<br /><br />I returned home and for the first time since Thursday, I checked the mail. Medical bills are already piling up and I'm still grieving, processing, and attempting to plan services. Please consider donating to us. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated. <br /><br />In Gratitude,<br />Dora and Dmitry

HELP SAVANNAH RECOVER FROM HOUSE FIRE#URGENT

Kimmy was in a serious motorcycle accident on wednesday September 25th. She suffered a compound fracture in her left leg and every bone in her foot was crushed. Sihe has also suffered severe tissue loss and damage in both her leg and foot. Since the accident she has undergone 6 different surgeries trying to fix her foot. She still has to have several more surgeries, including skin grafts, just to see if her foot can possibly be saved. She is looking at a minimum of 2 years recovery time, not to mention a possible amputation. She is going to need lots of love, support, and help. We appreciate anything you are able to provide, as she has a very long road to recovery. Thank you!
