My name is Ann, I am the aunt to James J. Ferrizzi Jr., aka Jimmy.
I am starting this campaign on behalf of Jimmy's immediate family (Mom, Dad, and Sisters) as they were suddenly faced with mounting expenses, debt, and loss of income due to a tragic accident that occurred.
On their behalf, I would like to ask for your help during this difficult time to help support loss of income, travel, lodging, and food costs. Eventually, there will be additional expenses incurred as time elapses. Jimmy's mom, Susie, will be the beneficiary of all funds raised during this campaign for help.
Jimmy was involved in a serious accident on January 6th, where he was riding his bicycle across an intersection when he was fatally hit by a car. Jimmy suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital after he had to be intubated when paramedics arrived. After being notified, his mom, Susie, left her home and job in Florida to fly out to Ohio, where Jimmy had been living, and has been by his side ever since.
The family was given an update on his injuries, where he suffered traumatic brain injuries and multiple broken ribs. Jimmy's sisters and dad flew out later when it was known of his prognosis, Jimmy has been in ICU ever since, not breathing on his own, not responding to pain or commands, and not waking up.
Jimmy is now in hospice, where his mom is still by his side, and the family is grateful that he is being kept comfortable until he is ready to pass, At which time it was also decided that he will be an organ donor in hopes of saving another person's life.
Jimmy is 35 years young, a son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin. He is strong-willed and can also be hard-headed at times. He has a kind soul and is very loving. He loves to draw and has always had an artistic side to him. He also loves to play video games. He is a true fighter and has been brave during this difficult time.
Any little bit helps. If you are not able to donate to help the family during this difficult time, please consider sharing. We appreciate and are grateful for anyone who is able to donate or share.
At this time, the family is asking to please give privacy during this difficult time.
Thank you, and God bless you all!
