<div>Rachel is facing a difficult time right now as she is in desperate need of dental work. The costs for these procedures are more than we can manage on our own, and it has become urgent to get her the care she needs. Dental health is so important, and without this treatment, she risks not only pain and discomfort but also more serious issues like bone loss, bone death (osteoradionecrosis) and the risk of losing her jaw bone. (This would mean total reconstruction, if this happened)

<div>Rachel helps people daily through a cancer organization called UCAAN - United Cancer Advocacy Action Network. After experiencing detrimental side effects from her own life-saving cancer treatments, Rachel started a program in 2010 to focus on the impact these treatments can have on dental health. UCAAN now educates cancer patients on how to protect their teeth so they don't face the same challenges Rachel has endured.

<div>The funds raised will go directly toward restoring Rachel's smile and giving her the ability to eat comfortably again. This will not only improve her health but also her confidence and quality of life. She is someone who helps others every day, and now she needs a little help herself. The funding goal will increase as funds come in. The cost for the restoration that Rachel requires is much more than we expected and the team we are working with are specialists in complicated cases like hers.

Help Rachel Restore Her Smile

Please also consider helping the second family involved in the horrible boating accident this morning at Lake Buena Vista. Joey, Britney, Landen and Teegan were also there when the boat caught fire. While Joey was released, Britney and the kids suffered severe burns and are all still admitted. They will also need help while they recover. Please help take the stress off of their shoulders so that bills and work are not an issue at this time.

Thankfully our son has two loving homes and hasn’t had to endure losing everything he owns but it’s starting to sink into him that their home together along with their beloved pets are gone and it’s truely breaking my heart. For his father Joe on the other hand, this was everything he had. He not only lost his home and trucks he lost his job being that he was self employed doing pool maintenance and route for the community. <img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/11051223_1462153838.7551_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br />Our dear friend, Kei, has gone through more loss in the last three years than any of us should have to experience in a lifetime. <br /><br />After losing her father in 2013 and younger brother in 2014, both suddenly, she has now lost her soulmate of 10 years, Jake, to a drunk driver who's vehicle struck Jake's motorcycle while Jake was heading home from work to his family. <br /><br />Jake leaves behind Kei and their almost 7 year old son, who is also having a hard time with the sudden loss of his daddy. <br /><br />Jake was a giving, loving, kind person and an amazing designer of innovative ideas for the future. His friends as well as his family all miss him tremendously; his loss is great. <br /><br />Jake received his B.S. in Transportation Design at the Art Center of Pasadena in 2010 and started instructing Transportation Design and IX Design Majors from 2012 until most recent when his life suddenly ended.<br /><br />If you can spare even $5 for our dear friend, to help her get through funeral plus other expenses, in addition to having to deal with everything that surrounds the sudden death of a loved one, it would be most appreciated. <br /><br />Our goal is just to ease her suffering by cutting out even a little of her worry over finances, while she deals with everything else. <br /><br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/11051223_1462150709.8084_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br />Gratefully yours,<br />Stephanie, Amy and Iriet
