I am truly honored to share that I have been given the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall—one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world. This invitation is part of a college choir performance through MidAmerica Productions. The total cost of the trip is $2,500, which covers airfare, registration fees, hotel accommodations, and other required travel expenses. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a significant milestone in my journey as a music student and aspiring professional vocalist. Years of dedication through performances, competitions, and rigorous academic training have led to this moment. Performing at Carnegie Hall is not only a dream come true, but also an opportunity to grow as both a musician and an individual.

I really didn’t think we’d have to ask for help but I feel defeated trying to keep it together lately. Dobbies is my best friend and means the absolute World to me. Early in his life, he suffered an accident that left him with a chronic deformity in his nose, making it difficult for him to breathe and enjoy everyday activities. Even with this challenge, Dobbies has always been full of love and joy, bringing happiness to everyone he meets. He is the most goofy, fun, loving dog I’ve had the privilege of loving. <br />

 Recently, Dobbies’ condition worsened. He developed painful ulcers and a mass that now require urgent treatment and reconstructive surgery. The cost of these procedures is far more expensive than I could have realized, and I’ve been doing everything I can to save money for his care. Unfortunately, the vet bills have become overwhelming, and it’s impossible for me to cover all the expenses on my own.

Help Dobbies Breathe Easy Again

A few weeks ago, my son Darius was involved in a devastating high-speed accident on his way home from work. After clipping an 18-wheeler, his car tumbled and he was ejected through the front windshield, suffering traumatic injuries. Darius was rushed to the ICU, where he remained unconscious for several weeks with serious damage to his back, neck, and brain. During this time, our family faced the uncertainty of his recovery while medical bills and other expenses continued to pile up.

 After a long and difficult fight, Darius regained consciousness and began the challenging process of rehabilitation. He was transferred to a facility in Atlanta to help him regain the strength and mobility needed to return to work and daily life. However, the financial burden has only grown, with mounting hospital bills, insurance costs, his phone bill, and the loss of his transportation adding to the stress.

Tracey suffered critical injuries from this accident and has undergone at least 14 surgeries. She has a long recovery ahead of her and it is unknown when she will be able to work again. I am asking for donations on Tracey’s behalf as I train and run in a half marathon the end of April in Nashville. I am running for Tracey! Run for Tracey- Help her heal

On August 25th at approximately 8:30 am our lives were forever changed. Our 24 year old daughter Jalen was shot by her sons father 3 times. After shooting her he proceeded to take his own life. Jalen was shot 2 times in the face and once in the back as she hovered over her 6 week old baby trying to protect him. Jalen was ultimately life flighted to Grady Memorial in Atlanta where she remains. Unfortunately Jalen has yet to regain any feeling in her lower extremities and it is looking like she may not. We are now faced with helping to raise our grandson while financially supporting Jalen and Ja’siah. Jalen has a lengthy hospital stent ahead of her which includes multiple surgeries followed by a lengthy rehab stay. This is a parents worst nightmare and one I would never wish on anyone. Jalen has the kindest heart and was merely trying to allow her sons father an opportunity to be just that. He had this vicious attack planned and her life course has forever been altered as has ours. As the parents of 7, the youngest being 8, we were in no way shape or form prepared for this tragedy. We are now faced with God only knows what medical bills, getting Ja’siah into daycare, making any modifications that may be needed to our home, taking over Jalen’s finances and honestly at this point we are not sure what else. What I can tell you is our family is strong, as I said above we have 7 amazing kids all of whom will rally behind Jalen and Ja’siah. Our family is taking this on while my husband is also battling stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma. Most would throw in the towel but we are ready to take this head on. Our daughter is a hero, she protected her sweet baby boy while putting up the fight of her life. She should not be here so I have no doubt she has lots left to accomplish on this Earth. We hate to ask anyone for anything as we both work very hard to provide for our family but any help big or small would be appreciated.<font color="#333333"> </font>

Hello All - <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53794618_1610071052677747_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="53794618_1610071052677747_r.jpeg" /><br />This is Drake, a sweet rescued blue pit that belongs to Jason Fiveash.   On Monday January 4th, 2021 around 10:30 A.M. Drake was tragically hit on Highway 43 across from the Forest Lakes subdivision.  After he was hit, he took off back into Forest Lakes neighborhood, and was last seen running into the woods on Forest Lakes Way.   Well over 50 neighbors were invested into helping Jason find sweet Drake. The search continued from sun up well into the night.  Two days the search went nonstop by all neighbors. We had a volunteer drive graciously over 30 minutes that owned a drone to survey the woods, and still no sign of him. The last two days were spent thoroughly searching the neighborhood, to no avail.<br /><br />Thursday, as Jason was preparing to make another search, he found Drake limping up the sidewalk making his way back home. Jason immediately rushed him to the vet. Right now Drake is resting and being take care of by Veterinary Specialists of Birmingham. Drake is suffering from extensive injuries from a broken jaw with possible bone fragments in his skull, and broken back leg. <br /><br />We are reaching out to the community in hopes to help Jason fund all of Drake's treatment that is IMMEDIATELY necessary. The treatment is currently placed on hold as the surgeon is requesting payment to continue.<br /><br />Please help us bring Drake home to his loving family where he is terrible missed!

The unexpected &amp; sudden death of our loving son, brother, uncle, cousin &amp; friend to many has left us devastated.  He loved his family, his black lab Jericho, his many friends &amp; he made sure we knew it. <br /><br />Ty was "<strong>that guy",</strong> who <strong>loved the lord &amp; reminded others to do the same.</strong>  He received no greater <strong>pleasure than helping others</strong> always putting their needs above his own, giving away his last $1 or pulling their stuck cars out of the sand.   He never had an enemy, never met a stranger &amp; as all would tell you<strong> "one of the good ones".   <br /><br /></strong>His favorite place to be was the the ocean, he loved the beach, sunrises, sunsets, fishing, surfboarding, even cleaning the beach and all things of nature.  <br /><br />He talked about this amazing reef being built for marine life &amp; laboratory for biologists, students, researchers, ecologist.  A world class destination for scuba divers, snorkelers &amp; visitors from all walks of life.  The largest man made environmental &amp; ecological underwater harbor for marine life, coral &amp; other invertebrate life.<br /><br />As we struggle with our loss, we ache to memorialize him doing more than just pay tribute &amp; move on.  His death is such a tragedy; we feel we can all find some peace knowing we sent him to the place he loved &amp; assisted in the building of this incredible reef.  He had so much life left to give, with help we wish to let him give it to the reef. <strong>"life to life"</strong>.  "Blessed are the pure in heart; for they will see God",Matthew 5:8<br /><br />Cremated ashes are molded in concrete and become part of the building of what is to be a 16 acre memorial off the coast of Florida.  <br /><br />With your help, deployment of his ashes, by their divers, would give us some peace, knowing we sent him to the place he loved.   No donation too small.  A memorial fund in his name has also been set up at Wells Fargo Bank.  Ty Posson Memorial Fund.  Please check out this amazing man made reef being built.  <a href="http://www.nmreef.com">www.nmreef.com</a>
