Help Falisha Prepare for Baby and Recovery

Falisha Palmer is Amber’s daughter, and she is expecting a baby on November 12, 2026. This fundraiser is being created to help Falisha through an incredibly difficult and stressful time. Falisha contributed her car toward a family vehicle for herself and the baby’s father, and Amber also provided $1200 in cash to help make that purchase possible. The vehicle was placed in his name with the understanding that Falisha would be added once her driver’s license arrived. After her license came in, he took the vehicle, refused to let Falisha use it, and has also refused to repay her for her share of the vehicle and the cash that was put into it. Falisha is now left without reliable transportation while trying to prepare for the arrival of her baby. Because of losing access to transportation, Falisha missed a job opportunity that could have helped her prepare financially before maternity leave. She has also struggled to get to important appointments and has been carrying the weight of serious emotional stress during a time that should be focused on health, safety, and getting ready for her child. The family is pursuing a civil suit to recover what she is owed, but that process takes time, and in the meantime Falisha still needs support. Donations will help her secure a low-cost vehicle, cover basic needs as the baby’s arrival gets closer, and provide a small financial cushion during the weeks after birth when working may not be possible. Amber is also without a vehicle right now and is struggling with standing for long periods and walking, which makes it very hard to make up for the support Falisha is missing. Falisha also lacks a strong support system, which is why Amber is reaching out to friends, family, and kindhearted supporters for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help Falisha regain stability, prepare for her baby, and move forward with a little more peace of mind while the legal process continues.
