<div>On July 5, 2026, our beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Esposito, passed away unexpectedly. Our family is heartbroken as we begin to navigate life without her.

<div>As we prepare to honor her memory with a memorial service and cremation, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden that comes with saying goodbye. <div>On the evening of June 12, 2026, our friend and coworker, Troy “TJ” Donaldson, was seriously injured while restoring power to communities across Central Illinois.

</div>

<div>As a dedicated lineman, TJ spent his career serving others, often working long hours in difficult and dangerous conditions to help keep the lights on for families and businesses. During that service, he suffered a severe electrical injury and has been working tirelessly toward recovery ever since.

</div>

<div>Since the accident, TJ has shown incredible strength, courage, and determination. After fighting through the most critical days of his recovery, he continues to make progress and is now preparing for the next phase of his rehabilitation journey. He will be continuing specialized inpatient rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, where he will receive advanced care and therapy focused on helping him regain strength and independence. While there is still a long road ahead, those who know TJ are inspired by his resilience and the progress he has already made.

<div>TJ is more than a coworker and friend. He is a devoted father to three children and a loving partner to Torri. Throughout this journey, his mother, Jennifer, has been by his side every step of the way, along with Torri and many other family members and friends who have provided unwavering love, support, and encouragement during this difficult time.

<div>As TJ continues his recovery, the family is also facing significant financial strain. With ongoing medical care and rehabilitation happening hours away from home in Chicago, travel expenses, lodging, meals, and time away from work have become a constant and unexpected burden on top of already overwhelming costs.

<div>Many people have asked how they can help. This fundraiser has been created to support TJ, Torri, their three children, and the family surrounding him as they navigate the months ahead. Our hope is to ease some of the financial pressure so they can focus fully on what matters most—TJ’s recovery and healing.

<div>My name is Ashley and I have had the privilege of calling Murphy’s mom, Jessica, my best friend since we were in 3rd grade. We’ve grown up together, celebrated life’s biggest blessings, and weathered many storms side by side. Now, her family is facing one of the biggest storms yet.

<div>At just two weeks old, sweet Murphy Rose was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis (a condition in which the bones of her skull fused too early, restricting the normal growth and shape of her head) and will require skull surgery within the next few weeks. This will give Murphy the best chance for healthy development. Her craniosynostosis journey doesn’t end with surgery, though. She will require months of specialized helmet therapy, frequent follow-up appointments, ongoing monitoring as she grows, and any additional treatment needs that may arise.

<div>As her family navigates all of this, along with the uncertainty that comes with an unexpected medical diagnosis and time away from work, my hope is we can come together to help lighten the financial load so Jess and Jack can focus on what matters most: loving and caring for their precious baby girl.

As many of you know, I’m a bartender—I make my living by being on my feet for long hours and talking to guests. Right now, I can’t do any of that. It turns out broken jaws aren’t great for either asking or answering questions.

The rupture caused a severe brain injury, resulting in complete paralysis on the right side of her body. Despite these devastating circumstances, Laura continues to show incredible strength. Her journey toward recovery will be long and demanding, requiring intensive rehabilitation and ongoing therapy.
