Well y'all we thought we had it. Heard nothing but good news most of the day, her ketones were down, she ate at 7am for them, even talk of her coming home today or tomorrow, unfortunately with every step forward we do have a step back. Tonight's call was not great. Her ketones are back elevated and they just dont know why. They dont believe there is anything more they can do for her at the ER and they want to transfer her to UF Vet hospital in Gainesville. Please pray for our lovey girl. I just know she has so much love to give this world. Our girl is still fighting so we will fight with her #goodkarmaonly
While i wish I had nothing but good news, that is entirely unrealistic. Yesterday was a great day, she ate well when we went up at 9pm and ate a little more 2am. This morning she is refusing to eat, she doesnt seem uninterested in food because she smells it and thinks about it but she just won't eat. Her ketones are back in the moderate range which is not what we like to see and they had to up her insulin dosage. On a positive note she is alert, excited when we come in and she responds to all of her favorite words with excitement. Her breathing is way better than it was yesterday and her inflammation appears to be going down. Karma looks like our Karma girl, which leads me to believe she is just incredibly stubborn and isnt in the mood for chicken anymore...y'all know how spoiled our girls are. Please continue to pray Lord knows we need all the good vibes we can get ❤️❤️❤️
My name is Amanda, and I’m starting this fundraiser for our beloved dog, Karma. She recently had to be rushed to the ER and was diagnosed with ketoacidosis and pancreatitis. Since then, Karma has remained in the hospital, and this has been one of the scariest and most heartbreaking experiences for our family. Karma is the most loving dog ever, and everyone who has ever met her can agree. She brings so much comfort, joy, and unconditional love to our lives. She is truly the heart of our home, and right now we are doing everything we can to help her get through this because we just want our girl home. We are asking for help to cover Karma’s emergency vet bills and the ongoing care she still needs while she is hospitalized. The costs have added up so quickly, and any support would mean the world to us as we focus on her treatment and recovery. If you’re able to give, share, or keep Karma in your thoughts, we would be deeply grateful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting our sweet girl and standing with us during this difficult time.
